ObjectiveTo evaluate the effectiveness and safety of balloon-stent technique in the simple strategy of percutaneous coronary intervention.MethodsRCT of coronary bifurcation lesions treated with BSKT and JWT were collected by computer retrieval from PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library,CNKI,Wan Fang and VIP database. The retrieval time was from January 1,2013 to February 1,2019.Two reviewers independently selected the studies, extracted information, assessed quality, the forest plot and the funnel figures was drawn by using RevMan5.3 software and the results of included trials were reviewed systematically.ResultsA total of 539 patients(540 lesions)were included in 6 studies,269 patients(270 lesions)involved in BSKT and 270 patients(270 lesions)in JWT.The results of the Meta-analysis showed that the treatment with BSKT have lower rate of postoperative TIMI level<3 of side branch blood flow(OR=0.28,95%CI:0.16-0.50,p<0.05);BSKT have bigger rate of postoperative branch vessel minimum diameter, there were significant difference(MD=0.64,95%CI:0.26-0.74,p<0.05),and it could reduce the rate of earl-term major adverse cardiovascular events(OR=0.22,95% CI:0.10-0.51,p < 0.05),but there were no significant difference of long-term major adverse cardiovascular events(OR=0.51,95%CI:0.18-1.46,p>0.05);The duration and exposure of BSKT intervention had shorten(MD=-4.23,95%CI:-7.21--1.25,p<0.05).Funnel plots showed there is no obviously publication bias in our study.ConclusionsCompared with the JWT,the BSKT improved the immediate angiographic effect of the side branch on coronary bifurcation lesions significantly.Decreased the early-term MACE and operation time, but it did not improve the long-term MACE.BSKT may reduce the incidence of surgical complication such as side branch tear, dissection, occlusion, target lesion revascularization and so on.
