Objective:The study was to explore the value of clinical efficacy and safety of jailed wire technique(JWT)and jailed balloon technique(JBT)on the protection of side branch artery in coronary artery true bifurcation lesions in atherosclerotic heart disease interventional therapy, which will help the true bifurcation lesions of the intervention and treatment to find a more effective strategy and clinical theory basis.Methods:100 patients with coronary angiography coronary bifurcation lesions and receiving PCI in Jining NO.1 people’s hospital were divided into two groups in random, group A(traditional side branch protection group,50 cases);group B(protect side branch with jailed ballon,50 cases),which to compare intraoperative and postoperative complications(side branch residual vascular stenosis degree, occlusion or sandwich in branch).Patients in both groups were done to observe the incidence of cardiovascular event in patients(including angina、AMI、cardiac death)(2)operative time, irradiation dose, the amount of guide wire and balloon, consumption of contrast agent, operation costs.(3)The major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)after accept the PCI postoperative in a year.Through the statistical analysis the above factors in the two groups, thus to evaluate the efficacy and safety. Results:There is one case of branch occlusion in the traditional side branch protection group,no case in the jailed ballon group. One year after the PCI postoperative, the cases of branch occlusion in the two groups still the same, there were no significant difference between the two group(P>0.05).But the jailed balloon group shorten the exposure time, reduce the dosage of contrast agent(P< 0.05).One year after the PCI postoperative, there were no significant difference between the two group in side branch vascular stenosis degree(P>0.05),so same to the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events and the main vascular restenosis rate in the two gruops(P>0.05).Conclusion:The jailed balloon technique(JBT)reduced the PCI perioperativecomplications, shortened the exposure time, controlled the dosage of contrast agent compare with the jailed wire technique(JWT),it is not inferior to traditional side branch protection technique in the recent follow-up curative effect,it is safe and effective in the treatment of coronary bifurcation lesions.
