Intervertebral disc degeneration(IDD)refers to the degeneration of intervertebral disc organizations such as the nucleus pulposus, annulus fibrosus and cartilage end plate, with the he growth of the age.It is the pathologic and premise basis of a series of spinal degenerative disease, such as intervertebral disc herniation.Till now, there is no definite conclusion on the exact mechanism of intervertebral disc degeneration. But it is generally believed that intervertebral disc degeneration is closely related to the complex environmental factors and natural aging,as a result of a cascade process. The initial factors mainly include: the high load over a long period of time, the activities of the high energy consumption,long-term fixed position of stress and etc.GESIGNAEXCITE 1.5T MR with conventional scan and DCE-MRI was used.According to Pfirrmann grading standard, the blind method was used in sagittal T2 WI on 100 cases who met the inclusion criteria for classification of 500 lumbar intervertebral discs, and to measure the K-trans value. We preliminarily studied the feasibility of normal MRI scans on of intervertebral disc degeneration and evaluated the disc blood supply situation of intervertebral of different age groups through dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging, exploring the way of inflammatory factors into the intervertebral disc. Results show that serious intervertebral disc degeneration has not occurred in most normal adults, and only a few of serious intervertebral disc degeneration. At the same time,Pfirrmann grading showed positive correlation with age: With the growth of the age,Pfirrmann grading level also gradually increases. But with stronger subjectivity, the reliability and sensitivity is lower in Pfirrmann grading evaluation of intervertebral disc degeneration through traditional MRI scansOn the basis of different Pfirrmann grading, the analysis of K-trans value and age found that with the deterioration of the intervertebral disc degeneration,K-trans values and Pfirrmann grading has certain relevance, when Pfirrmann?and Pfirrmann?,the correlation is high; However, when Pfirrmann?,Pfirrmann? and Pfirrmann?,the correlation low, showing that microvascular invasion has a certain relationship with the growth of the age.We also found that,as the growth of the age,K-trans value has a tendency to rise, suggesting that even in the case of intervertebral disc degeneration is lighter, the disc may have appeared in the generation of microvascular, and inflammatory factors may also have been within the intervertebral disc. Thus it can be concluded that in the evaluation of IDD,the K-trans value of DCE-MR can provide important complementary role for MR signal classification. In the same time,it is proved that DCE-MRI can be used in the evaluation of the microvascular invasion situation of intervertebral disc, and can provide early diagnosis basis of IDD.
