Clinical Observation Of Ziyin Yifei Decoction In Treating Cough Variant Asthma(Lung Yin Deficiency Type) And Its Effect In Serum TGF-?1

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Ziyin Yifei Decoction in the treatment of cough variant asthma(lung yin deficiency type)and its effect on serum TGF-b1 and evaluate its safety.Methods: 72 patients with lung-yin deficiency type CVA were selected from the outpatient clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 36 cases in each group.The treatment group was given Ziyin Yifei Formula,while the control group was given Seretide(salmeterol-fluticasone powder inhalation)50?g/250 ?g twice a day for 4 weeks.The improvement of dry cough,less phlegm,white phlegm,hoarseness and dry mouth and pharynx before and after treatment were observed.The changes of serum TGF-1 level were detected by immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Result:1.The clinical efficacy of Ziyin Yifei Decoction in treating patients with lung-yin deficiency type CVA was significant,with a total effective rate of 97.14% and a total effective rate of 82.86% in the control group.There was a significant difference between the two(P<0.05).2.Ziyin Yifei Recipe can effectively improve the TCM syndrome of patients,especially in the cases of cough,whiteness,hoarseness and dry throat.The difference between the two groups is statistically significant (P<0.05).3.Both groups of drugs can reduce the level of TGF-b1 in the serum of patients,and the treatment group is better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Ziyin Yifei Decoction has a significant clinical effect in treating patients with lung-yin deficiency type CVA,which can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients.2.Ziyin Yifei can effectively improve the symptoms of cough,hoarseness,dry mouth and dry throat.3.Ziyin Yifei Recipe can effectively reduce the content of TGF-b1 in the serum of patients with lung-yin deficiency type CVA.
