Objective: to investigate the serum levels of thyroid hormone in patients with depression and after treatment. Methods: the inpatients from February 2018 to March 2019 in Harbin first specialized hospital and the employees who participated in the physical examination in October 2018 in our hospital were selected as the research subjects. The patients were divided into control group and depression group, and the depression group was treated as the treatment group.Autolumo A2000 automatic chemiluminescence analyzer was used to detect thyroid hormones in the three groups.Independent samples-t test was used for depression group and control group, and paired t-test was used for depression group and treatment group.Pearson correlation analysis was performed on the difference between the changes and the difference of HAMD24 score before and after treatment. Results: there was no difference in FT3 between the depression group and the treatment group(t=-0.061,p=0.952);there was a statistically significant difference in FT4 between the depression group and the treatment group(t=-4.527,p=0.000);there was no difference in TSH between the depression group and the treatment group(t=1.903,p=0.063).There was no difference in FT3 between the depression group and the treatment group(t=-0.951,p=0.351),there was a statistically significant difference in FT4 between the depression group and the treatment group(t=2.842,p=0.009),There was no difference in TSH between the depression group and the treatment group(t=-1.149,p=0.261).Pearson correlation analysis was performed no correlation between the difference of FT4 between the depression group and the treatment group and the difference of HMAD-24 score between the two groups(r=-0.174,p=0.396).Conclusion: 1.Serum FT4 level of depressed patients was higher than that of healthy people.2.FT4 decreased in patients with depression after treatment 3.There was no correlation between depression improvement and FT4 decline.
