Objective:Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome(OSAS),)is a common chronic sleep dyspnea disease. This study focuses on the clinical treatment of phlegm-dampness obstructive sleep apnea syndrome by acupuncture. To observe the changes of(AHI),minimum SaO2(%),ESS drowsiness scale)and TCM syndrome score before and after the trial, and to explore the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of the disease.Methods:72 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into acupuncture group(test group,n = 36)and waiting treatment group(control group,n= 36).First,the general data(sex, age,BMI,etc.)of the patients were collected, and the sleep respiration of the patients was monitored by portable sleep monitor. The patients in the two groups were given the same health education. The experimental group was treated with acupuncture on the basis of health education,5 days as a course of treatment,2 days after a course of treatment,a total of 4 courses of treatment. The control group waited for treatment on the basis of health education.4weeks later, the AHI,minimum SaO2(%),ESS narcolepsy scale)was observed before and after the trial. In order to observe the clinical effect of acupuncture on OSAS patients, the changes of TCM syndrome score and other related indexes were observed.Result:1.During the experiment, there were 3 patients, including 2 cases in the experimental group and 1 case in the control group.69 cases were finally completed, including 53 cases of males and 16 cases of females, which were significantly more in males than in females.2.General data comparison: the two groups were at the same level in sex, age,BMI and other basic data, there was no significant difference between the two groups, the two groups were comparable(P > 0.05).3.Intra-group comparison: the improvement of TCM syndrome score and AHI,minimum SaO2(%),ESS scale)in the experimental group after acupuncture treatment was significantly better than that before acupuncture treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),but chest tightness was uncomfortable. The relief of stool sticky symptoms was not obvious, and there was no significant difference before and after acupuncture(P > 0.05).The total score of TCM syndromes and the lowest SaO2(%)of AHI,in the control group were not significantly improved, and there was no significant difference between before and after the comparison, but there was significant difference between before and after ESS narcolepsy scale test(P < 0.05)..4.Comparison between the two groups: the lowest SaO2 of AHI,(%),ESS scale)was significantly better than that of the control group after acupuncture treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.Comparison of effective rate: after treatment,28 cases were effective,6 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 82.36%,the control group had no cure and obvious effect, but the effective rate was 8 cases,27 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 22.86%.6.Comparison of safety indexes: there was no significant difference in safety indexes(body temperature, respiration, heart rate, blood pressure)between the two groups before and after the test(P > 0.05).7.During the test period,no adverse reactions occurred in both groups. Conclusion:Acupuncture can effectively reduce AHI,Essvalue, increase the minimum SaO2(%),improve the clinical symptoms of patients with phlegm-dampness obstructive sleep Apnea syndrome,so as to improve the quality of life and safety of the patients, which is worthy of follow-up study.
