Analysis Of The Research Status Of Orthokeratology Lens At Home And Abroad Based On Information Metrology

Objective1.Understand the development and research topics of orthokeratology lens at home and abroad,and visualize the results.2.Comparing the research status of orthokeratology lens at home and abroad,and putting forward suggestions for the future development direction of orthokeratology lens in China.MethodIn this paper,we retrieve all relevant Chinese documents from China HowNet,Wanfang and Weipu,and all relevant foreign documents from web of science,PubMed and Springer.Combining bicomb,excel,ucinet,SPSS and other softwares,this paper uses the methods of literature research,bibliometrics,cluster analysis to study the domestic and foreign literature related to orthokeratology lens,and scientifically measures the annual publications,Journal distribution,high-yielding authors,co-authors and research topics of domestic and foreign papers on orthokeratology lens,and analyses the overall evolution trend of this field.Result1.The research on orthokeratology lens in China started in 1999,and has been in a stable development stage since 2000-2003.International Journal of Ophthalmology and Chinese Journal of Glasses Science and Technology are the most frequently published papers on corneal plastic lenses.Xie Peiying,Mao Xinjie and Guo Xi are the leading figures in the field of orthokeratology lens in China.By studying their related papers and technical directions,we can understand the current research hotspots and frontiers of orthokeratology lens in China.In the aspect of author cooperation,18authors' cooperative groups,represented by Xie Peiying and Guo Xi,Wei Ruihua andGu Tianpu,Hu Qi and Yang Fan,Fu Aicun and Li Xiuhong,have been formed.Independent cooperative research has been carried out within each cooperative group,and the degree of cooperation with other groups or individuals is low.The topics of our country's orthokeratology lens is focused on the advantages and disadvantages of orthokeratology lens,the necessity of nursing orthokeratology lens,the matching and trial wearing of orthokeratology lens,the influence of wearing orthokeratology lens,the best correction period of orthokeratology lens and the effect of orthokeratology lens.2.From the above content,we can see that the research on orthokeratology lens in foreign countries began in 1970 at the earliest,and generally,it shows a steady upward trend.Contact Lens and Anterior Eye,OPTOMETRY and VISION SCIENCE,and INVESTIGATIVE OPHTHALMOLOGY & VISUAL SCIENCE are journals with a large amount of papers published abroad.Cho,Pauline,Gonzalez-Meijome,Jose Manuel and Villa-Collar,Cesar are the leading figures in the research of orthokeratology lens abroad.Through their articles,we can understand the current research situation of orthokeratology lens abroad.The author's cooperation is mainly composed of four groups,Lopes-Ferreira,Daniela and Cho,Pauline,Kang,Pauline and Gifford,Paul,Oshika,Tetsuro and Hiraoka,Takahiro and so on.The author is a close co-author.The research topics of orthokeratology lens abroad are the role of orthokeratology lens in myopia control,the application of corneal topography in corneal plastic lenses,the effect of orthokeratology lens on corneal remodeling in children,the combination of new technologies with orthokeratology lens and complications caused by orthokeratology lens.Conclusion1.The research heat of orthokeratology lens at home and abroad has been steadily increasing,but in recent years,domestic attention to orthokeratology lens is higher than that of foreign countries.2.Literatures on orthokeratology lens at home and abroad come from journals of ophthalmology,vision and optics,clinical medicine and medicine.The difference is that the foreign journals of orthokeratology lens literature are more diverse andprofessional,including journals specializing in orthokeratology lens.3.Domestic orthokeratology lens related fields are dominated by small group cooperation in the same institutions,with a low degree of cooperation in a wide range,while overseas cross-agency cooperation is high.4.The optimal period of orthokeratology lens,the effect of orthokeratology lens on myopia and the possible complications are the common research topics in domestic and foreign literatures.The difference is that the domestic focus is on the care of orthokeratology lens,while the foreign focus is on the combination of orthokeratology lens and new technology.
