Objective:Through clinical observation,to evaluate the efficacy of Jiechang Shu in treating constipation after rectal prolapse surgery, and to explore a more effective clinical method for constipation after rectal prolapse surgery.Methods:84 patients with constipation after rectal prolapse surgery were divided into treatment group and control group according to random number table method.42 patients in each group were treated on the first day of constipation after operation in both treatment group and control group, with 10days as a course of treatment. The treatment group took orally the traditional Chinese medicine decoction Jiechang Shu(Danggui 12g,Lianqiao 30g,Shengdihuang 20g,Shengshouwu 20g,Maidong 10g,Roucongrong 30g,Shengbaizhu 30g,Houpo 10g,Zhiqiao 15g,Huanglian 10g,Muxiang 10g,Taoren 12g,Binlang 10g),while the control group took orally lactulose oral solution. The scores of defecation time, stool characteristics, defecation smoothness, incomplete defecation feeling and defecation pain were observed on the 3rd,5th,7th and 10th day after treatment. The data were analyzed by statistical software SPSS21.0.Results:1.Before treatment, there was no significant difference in gender, age and course of disease between the two groups, and the scores of symptoms and overall scores of the two groups,P were all greater than 0.05,which was comparable.2.On the third day of medication treatment, the scores of symptoms in the two groups tested by rank sum test,P>0.05,indicating that there was no significant difference in improving defecation time, stool characteristics, defecation smoothness, incomplete defecation feeling and defecation pain between the two groups on the third day of treatment.3.The scores of symptoms on the 5th,7th and 10th day of treatment in the two groups tested by rank sum test,P<0.05,indicating that the differences of the scores on the 5th,7th and 10th day of treatment in the two groups were statistically significant and comparable, and the treatment group was superior to the control group in defecation time, stool characteristics, defecation smoothness, incomplete defecation feeling and defecation pain.4.After treatment, the scores of symptoms and the total scores of the two groups,P were all less than 0.05;The cure rate of the treatment group was57.14%,of which 24 cases were cured,18 cases were markedly effective,0cases were effective and 0 cases were ineffective. The cure rate of the control group was 7.14%,of which 3 cases were cured,21 cases were markedly effective,18 cases were effective and 0 cases were ineffective.Chi-square test showed that?~2=21.832,P=0.000,P<0.01,indicating that there was a significant difference between the two groups. The curative effect of Jiechang Shu on constipation after rectal prolapse surgery was better than that of lactulose group.Conclusions:1.Both Jiechang Shu and lactulose oral solution have certain therapeutic effects on constipation after rectal prolapse surgery.2.Jiechang Shu is superior to lactulose oral solution in improving the symptoms of constipation after rectal prolapse surgery, such as defecation time, stool characteristics, defecation smoothness, incomplete defecation feeling, defecation pain, etc.
