Clinical Study On Adjuvant Treatment Of Gastrointestinal Dysfunction In Sepsis By Yangyin Jiedu Tongluo Recipe

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Yangyin Jiedu Tongluo Decoctionand and Conventional Western Medicine Therapy on sepsis with gastrointestinal dysfunction by observing the changes of acute physiology and chronic health status(APACHE II)score,related indexes of gastrointestinal dysfunction,procalcitonin(PCT),C-reactive protein(CRP),lactic acid(LA)and the incidence of MODS.Methods: From January 2017 to January 2019,We collected 48 patients with sepsis gastrointestinal dysfunction.Then they were randomly divided into two groups.The patients in the control group were given western medicine treatment,the patients in the treatment group were treated with Yangyin Jiedu Tongluo Recipe on the basis of Western medicine.One week later,the changes of APACHE II score,intestinal dysfunction score,intra-abdominal pressure(IAP),PCT,CRP,LA and incidence of MODS were compared between the two groups.The clinical efficacy was evaluated after statistical analysis.Results:1.Comparison of APACHE II score between two groups before and after treatmentThere was no significant difference in APACHE II score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);after treatment,APACHE II score in both groups decreased compared with that before treatment,and there were significant differences(P<0.05);after treatment,APACHE II score in the treatment group decreased more significantly than that in the control group(P<0.05).2.Comparison of related indexes of gastrointestinal dysfunction between two groups before and after treatmentThere was no significant difference in intestinal dysfunction score andIAP between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the curative effect of intestinal dysfunction of the two groups was evaluated.The effective rate of the treatment group was 82.61%,and that of the control group was lower than that of the treatment group,which was 47.83%.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The curative effect of the treatment group was better.3.Comparison of PCT,CRP and LA between two groups before and after treatmentThere was no significant difference in PCT,CRP and LA between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);PCT,CRP and LA in the two groups after treatment decreased significantly compared with before treatment(P<0.05);PCT,CRP and LA in the treatment group decreased more significantly than that in the control group(P<0.05).4.Comparisons of incidence of MODS between two groups after treatmentAfter the experiment,the incidence of MODS was 17.39% in the treatment group and 52.17% in the control group.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion: Yangyin Jiedu Tongluo Decoction combined with routine western medicine therapy has a remarkable effect on sepsis gastrointestinal dysfunction.It can alleviate the condition of sepsis patients,improve the gastrointestinal function of patients,and prevent further development of the disease to MODS.
