Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of negative pressure closed drainage(VSD)combined with medical chitosan in the treatment of diabetic foot infection wounds, and to provide a more reasonable and effective plan for the treatment of diabetic foot infection. Methods Fifty-seven patients with diabetic foot who were admitted to Tangshan workers’ hospital from December 2015 to December 2018 were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into control group(n=27)and experimental group(n=30)by random number table grouping method. All patients admitted to hospital after a positive control blood sugar and comprehensive treatment measures, such as resistance to infection in patients with disease completely cleared surface after the necrotic tissue, the control group using the VSD treatment, the experimental group with VSD technique combined chitosan treatment scheme, which based on the ordinary VSD devices increase a iv as flushing tube, and in the daily fixed time by the wash pipe into 50 ml/d sterile saline and 30 ml/d,chitosan in the treatment of 10 days after dismantling the VSD devices, open wounds, contrast the treatment effect of the two groups after treatment. Results Of the trial group, granulation tissue growth rating] [(2.90 + 0.40)points is significantly higher than the control group [(2.14-0.76),P < 0.05),the experimental group of drainage tube plugging / 2 cases(6.70%),wound infection rate [0 cases(0.00%)],wound healing time [](20.66 + 5.17)days and hospitalization time [](28.30 + 3.89)days significantly lower than the control group(8 cases(29.60%),6 cases(22.20%),40.00(day)and 49.22 7.92 mm + /-6.00(day),P < 0.05).Conclusion VSD combined with chitosan is one of the effective methods for the treatment of diabetic foot, especially in promoting the growth of granulation tissue, shortening the time of wound healing and hospitalization, and reducing the infection rate and blockage rate of wound compared with the control group, which is worthy of clinical reference and application.Figure 0;Table 7;Article 158 refs.
