Research purposes Learn about common suicide-related knowledge and preventive measures at home and abroad. At the same time, the clinical nurses' familiarity with suicide-related knowledge and the attitude of suicide prevention work,as well as the implementation of specific suicide prevention measures, and the weak links of nurses in suicide prevention work are identified.Under the knowledge-belief-behavior model,we provide suggestions for constructing a set of theoretical and practical, targeted and feasible suicide prevention training models,as well as clinical safety management and risk management.Research method(1)Literature Review Selecting relevant keywords and formulate search strategies, systematically search multiple databases of Chinese foreign languages, relevant contents related to this research were extract from relevant papers. Then, the first draft of the knowledge, attitude and behavior of nurses about inpatients suicide prevention questionnaire was formed.(2)Expert Consultation expert selection criteria were developed Strictly and expert consultation lists were determined. The first draft of the questionnaire was compiled into an expert consultation form, and the questionnaires were sent to the experts by e-mail.The questionnaire was modified according to the opinions of experts with rich theoretical knowledge and experience in this field.(3)Field Investigation The survey of this study was divided into two parts: pre-investigation and formal investigation.Through pre-survey,the questionnaires were screened and tested for reliability and validity, and a formal questionnaire was finally formed. The formal investigation investigated nurses of two large top three hospitals in Wuhan by a convenient sampling.(4)Statistical analysis method Using EXCEL,SPSS and AMOS organized and analyzed the data. For the item screening, the resolution coefficient method,Cronbach's Alpha method were used, and the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tested by confirmatory factor analysis. In the data analysis in the formal survey, mean and standard deviation were applied in the statistical description,t test, analysis of variance,Wilcoxon rank sum test were used for statistical inference, multivariate linear regression analysis was used for multivariate analysis.Research result 1.The positive coefficients of the two rounds of expert consultation are 90% and 77.8% respectively. The coefficient of variation of the two rounds of consultation is 0-0.418,0-0.159,and the Kendall Harmony Coefficient is 0.317,0.259(p<0.05).In addition, the authoritative coefficient Cr of expert consultation is 0.85.2.The knowledge, attitude and behavior of nurses about inpatients suicide prevention questionnaire includes 3 first-level indicators,6 second-level indicators, and 30 items.3.The reliability analysis of the scale shows that the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of the internal consistency of the questionnaire is 0.932.The validity analysis shows that the constructed model does not violate the estimation and the unreasonable situation. The goodness of the model is divided into different indicators: CFI=0.865,RMSEA=0.087,GFI=0.767,AGFI=0.730,so the confirmatory factor analysis model of the patient suicide prevention KAP questionnaire fits well with the actual observation data. Therefore, this questionnaire has a good reliability and validity, and is suitable for the investigation of knowledge, attitude and behavior of nursing staff to carry out suicide prevention.4.In this survey,125 nurses experienced patient suicides, accounting for 28.1% of the total number of surveys;in addition,82.25% of the subjects used psychological assessment scales for patients, and 42.92% used suicide assessments tools,82.25% have participated in patient suicide prevention training. The scores of the questionnaire ranged from 65 to 155 points, and the total score of individuals with a score of 140 or more accounted for 15.73% of the total number. The total scores of the questionnaires were statistically different in different ages, marital status, years of work, departments, whether they had experienced suicides, whether they used a psychological assessment scale, whether they used suicide assessment tools,or whether they participated in suicide prevention training(P < 0.001).Moreover,the knowledge questionnaire scores have statistics on different ages, marital status, department, working years, positions, whether they have experienced suicides, whether they have used psychological assessment scales, whether they have used suicide assessment tools, whether they participate in suicide prevention training(P <0.01).The attitude questionnaire scores were statistically different in different departments and whether they participated in suicide prevention training(P<0.01).The behavioral questionnaire scores were statistically different in age, marriage, working years, professional titles, whether they had experienced suicides, whether they used a psychological assessment scale, whether they used suicide assessment tools,or whether they participated in suicide prevention training(P<0.01).In multiple linear regression analysis, the questionnaire was treat as dependent variables, patient suicidal experience(?=4.50),patient suicide prevention training experience(?=8.42),and psychological assessment scale(?=8.66)were eventually entered the regression equation(F=24.81,P>0.001).In the analysis of the reasons that hinder the patient's suicide prevention work, the patient's low willingness to communicate(28.40%)was the most important obstacle, and the most desirable skill for nursing staff to master is the communication skills with suicidal patients(39.88%).Conclusion 1.The knowledge, attitude and behavior of nurses about inpatients suicide prevention questionnaire developed in this study has high reliability and validity, which can be used as an effective tool to evaluate the effectiveness of suicide prevention training.2.In this survey, the general condition of knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of suicide prevention among nursing staff was unsatisfactory, but the degree of mastery of suicide prevention was acceptable, and the attitude toward suicide prevention was more positive, and the implementation of relevant preventive measures is acceptable.3.In the knowledge of suicide prevention among patients, the knowledge lacked most of nurses was the assessment of suicide risk, the identification of high-risk suicide population, and the identification of suicide precursors. As for the attitude, the role of nurses had no enough confidence in suicide prevention;in terms of behavior, the implementation of shifting the risk of suicide for high-risk patients is relatively weak.4.the total score of the knowledge, attitude and behavior of nurses about inpatients suicide prevention questionnaire mainly influenced by three main factors: suicide experience, suicide prevention training experience, and use of psychological assessment scale.5.Most nurses believed that the main barrier of suicide prevention is that patients have low communication willingness and busy clinical work;the suicide prevention knowledge that they most want to learn is the communication skill with high-risk patients.
