Objective:To investigate the hospitalization costs of acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction inpatients in a top tertiary hospital from 2015 to 2017,and analysis its composition and influential factors of hospitalization costs in order to give suggestions on controlling medical costs. Methods:By collecting 1 010 medical records of acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction patients in a top tertiary hospital from 2015 to 2017,analyzing the changing trends of hospitalization cost and its influential factors with literature methodology, descriptive analysis,single-factor test and multiple linear regressions. Results:The results displays an annual decrease in hospitalization costs and materials costs takes the greatest portion.Of all the influential factors, hospital stay has the dominant influence on hospitalization costs, while payment methods, approaches of hospital admission and discharge, rescue measures, surgical situation, stent implantation and complications also play significant roles on the costs. Conclusion:Great progresses have been made with medical costs control. It is suggested to reduce costs by establishing chest pain center, facilitating a smooth emergency green channel, optimizing hospital service processes, shortening average hospitalization days, standardizing clinical diagnosis and treatment, strict demanding for surgical indications and so on. |
