| Background: China's immunization program is a valuable national measure to save lives,prevent illness,achieve global health goals and reduce the cost of health care,at the core of which—Vaccination,is considered as the most cost-effective means of preventing and controlling infectious diseases.When the vaccination of school-age children have a certain coverage,the prevention and control of infectious diseases will be more effective.The improvement of vaccination rate needs the support of all sectors of society and is closely linked with the compliance of parents.Therefore,it is particularly important for parents to correctly understand the immunization program.As a measure to raise parents' cognition level,health education has been interspersed with different forms of immunization planning work,and the city is always exploring more effective means of education.This study combined with the requirements of ?Preventive vaccination of parents school work in Wuxi City?by Wuxi CDC in September 2013,wicth is feasible,andthe conclusions of the survey can provide constructive suggestions on the health education measures of our city's immunization program,and there is practical value,too.Objective: 1.Tounderstand the city's children's knowledge of immunization program knowledge of parents and its influencing factors.2.Evaluate the "Parents School" intervention effect and its influencing factors.To find different types of parents of health education forms,content and other targeted measures.Methods: 1.Using Multi-level cluster random sampling method,take 3 precautionary vaccination units,and then draw the parents of newly-built card children in these 3sub-districts as the object,conduct one-on-one survey of baseline surveys using the questionnaire,and conduct a survey on the status of parents' cognition.2.The same parents in the form of "parent schools" to implement interventions and interventions after the investigation to assess the effect of interventions.Results: 1.The average survey of parents' immunization planning knowledge in our city scored 4.46.2.The highest correct rate of the three problems of "The best way to prevent hepatitis B","The first step of inoculation outpatient process","Vaccination card save time" were 78.98%,77.70% and 62.74%,respectively;The lowest correct rate of the three problems of "Free polio inactivated vaccination methods","free vaccine varieties","diphtheria vaccination times" were 8.62% ? 12.78% and 17.15%,respectively.3.The level of mother's education and so on are the main factors affecting the cognition of parents.4.After intervention,the average cognitive score of parents increased to 6.10,and the value of common parents' cognitive score(1.79)was higher than that of migrant parents(1.19),with significant difference.5.When the respondents were grandparents,the score increased most after intervention,the difference was statistically significant.6.The higher the educational level of the mother,the more the scores increased after the intervention,and the differences in the intervention effects among different education levels were statistically significant.Conclusion: 1.The overall cognitive level of the city's parental immunization program is low and needs to be improved.2.Parental school interventions for vaccination are effective.However,the effect of the intervention was affected by the household registration status,education level,and the type of respondents.In future parent schools,attention should be paid to the fluent,poorly educated and different family members.3.Pay attention to the management of floating population,Carry out targeted and easy-to-understand thematic publicity for the floating population of lower education level,provide home visits,centralized vaccination and other convenient services;Pay attention to the graduating education form of ancestors and mothers,Use medical stafflectures,newspapers,periodicals,televisions,and other media for ancestral parents use new software such as mobile phone software and We Chat public number for mothers. |
