Background National Immunization Program(NIP)is an important part and a basic work for disease prevention and control.The quality of NIP service effects the control and prevention of immunization related infectious diseases directly.To meet the increasing and diversified demands of the public,the NIP service needs efficiency and quality improvements by making full use of the Internet and Internet of Things technology(IoT)in Henan Province.Objective Solving the “last mile” problem of immunization program informatization,realizing “one-stop” vaccination service,further improving the NIP service efficiency and quality is the main objective of modeling Henan immunization program integrated management system.Requirement analysis,system analysis and design should be conducted with Unified Modeling Language(UML),thus building use case models,static models and dynamic models of new system and laying foundation for system realization.Methods Based on analysing related business process of immunization program,the business models were built with UML to describe current immunization program business process in Henan.According to the business sequence diagrams mapping and analysis,the sections which can be improved by new integrated management system were found and the system use cases and use case specifications of new system were got.In the system analysis and design stage,some key use cases were taken as examples to build related dynamic modeling views which could map the realization of system use cases with UML.Results According to combing the business process and NIP working system,the business use case models of Henan immunization program had been established with UML.And then,the system use case models of the underdeveloped system had been obtained by analyzing and improving the business sequence diagram.Driven by the system use case models,system analysis and design models also had been established.These models described the compositions of Henan immunization program integrated management system from different facets.They analysed and designed the implementation process of system use cases.Conclusion The demand models,system analysis models and design models built with UML make the ideas clear and lay foundation for the development and realization of Henan immunization program integrated management system.It is also an attempt to improve the immunization program workflow combined with information technology and UML.The views and models play a practical and promoting role for the realization of “Internet plus” in Henan NIP work and informatization,intelligentialize and hommization in NIP services.
