Clinical Study Of Xiaozhong Zhitong Decoction Fumigation And Hip Bath On Fast-track Surgery After PPH For Hemorrhoids

Objective: In this study,a randomized controlled trial was conducted to observe the clinical effect of Xiaozhong Zhitong Decoction fumigation and sitz bath on promoting rapid recovery after PPH for hemorrhoids.Methods:120 cases of mixed hemorrhoids after PPH in Chengdu Anorectal Hospital from February 2018 to February 2019 were collected as the study subjects.The patients were randomly divided into treatment group(60 patients)and control group(60 patients).At the same time of routine dressing change,the treatment group was given sitz bath with 600 ml Xiaozhong Zhitong Decoction plus boiling water to 1000 ml.First,the local anus was fumigated for about 15 minutes.After the temperature of water was reduced to warm,the anus was soaked in sitz bath for about 15 minutes,once a day.The patients in the control group were treated with general dressing change after operation.Before dressing change,give 5% povidone iodine solution 500 ml plus boiling water to 1000 ml.First fumigate the local anus,fumigation time is about 15 minutes.After the water temperature drops to warm,soak the affected area in the sitz bath for about 15 minutes,once a day.By observing the hospitalization days and medical expenses,finger examination and anal endoscopy,we observed the anastomotic stoma,whether there were complications such as congestion and edema of anal margin,incision hemorrhage and the number of cases in the two groups.The collected data were analyzed by SPSS20.0 software,and the clinical efficacy of Xiaozhong Zhitong Decoction fumigating sitz bath in promoting rapid recovery after PPH for hemorrhoids was evaluated.Results:All 120 cases were involved in the intervention experiment as expected.Before the intervention,the two groups were compared in sex ratio,age distribution and the number of hemorrhoids.The data of the two groups were comparable(P >0.05).The hospitalization days and hospitalization expenses of the two groups were compared.The hospitalization time of the treatment group was significantly shorter than that of the control group(P < 0.05),and the hospitalization expenses were lower than that of the control group(P < 0.05).The incidence of anal margin edema wascompared between the two groups.The results showed that the incidence of anal margin edema in the control group was higher than that in the treatment group.There was a statistical difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).From the amount of bleeding after operation,the treatment group was better than the control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).According to the data obtained from this experiment,Professor Yang Xiangdong's prescription "Xiaozhong Zhitong Decoction" fumigation and hip bath has a definite effect on the rapid recovery of hemorrhoids after PPH.Conclusion: Xiaozhong Zhitong Decoction fumigation hip bath has a definite effect on promoting the rapid recovery of hemorrhoids after PPH.Postoperative hospitalization time was significantly shortened,hospitalization costs were also reduced,the incidence of anal edema and postoperative bleeding volume were also significantly reduced.The scheme mentioned above can promote the rapid recovery of patients after operation,and there is no skin itching,rash and other allergic reactions in the course of treatment.It is safe and can be popularized in clinic.
