Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Localized Scleroderma(Arthromyodynia Of Wind-Damp) By Fumigation And Washing Of Traditional Chinese Medicine(ErWu-Jian)

Objective:Through the basic treatment of oral Chinese medicine and external rubbing asiaticoside cream ointment,adding fumigation and washing with Chinese medicine,objectively evaluate the difference of curative effect between the fumigation and washing group and the control group,objectively evaluate the external curative effect of fumigation and washing with Chinese medicine on scleroderma(arthromyodynia of wind-damp),so as to find more treatment options,simple,easy to operate,economical and convenient external treatment for patients.Methods:According to simple random method,52 patients with scleroderma were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,26 cases in each group.The treatment group was given oral Chinese medicine + herbal fumigation and washing(Erwu-jian)+ external rubbing asiaticoside cream ointment,while the control group was given oral Chinese medicine + hot water bath + external rubbing asiaticoside cream ointment.Both groups were treated continuously for 8 weeks.The treatment group was treated with herbal fumigation and washing once a day at intervals.LoSSI(Localized scleroderma severity index)score was used to record the lesion area,erythema degree,skin thickness and progress before treatment,4 weeks after treatment and 8 weeks after treatment,and to record various symptoms and local adverse reactions.Statistical software was used to make statistical analysis of the data and to determine the curative effect and analyze the results.Results:1.There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in the curative effect of localized scleroderma after 8 weeks(P > 0.05).2.The skin area score,erythema score,skin thickness score and progress score of the treatment group and the control group before treatment did not conform to normal distribution.Mann-Whitney U test of two groups of independent samples was used,P > 0.05,indicating no statistical significance.3.The skin lesion area score,skin thickness and progress score of the treatment group and the control group were compared before treatment and after 4 weeks of treatment,P > 0.05,with no statistical significance,P < 0.05 before treatment and after 8 weeks of treatment,with statistical significance.The erythema severity score of the treatment group and the control group before treatment and after 4 weeks of treatment was compared,P < 0.05,with statistical significance,P < 0.05 before treatment and after 8 weeks of treatment,with statistical significance.4.In the skin area score and progress score,the comparison between the treatment group and the control group after the fourth week of treatment was P > 0.05,and after the eighth week,the comparison between the two groups was still P > 0.05,with no statistical significance.In the erythema color score,skin thickness score,the treatment group and the control group after the fourth week of treatment,the comparison between groups,P > 0.05,there is no statistical significance.After the eighth week,the comparison between groups,P < 0.05,has statistical significance.Conclusion:1.On the basis of oral Chinese medicine combined with external application of asiaticoside cream,there is no significant difference in efficiency between the two groups in fumigation and washing of Chinese medicine for the treatment of localized scleroderma(arthromyodynia of wind-damp).2.It is relatively difficult to improve the area of skin lesions and control the progress of localized scleroderma.Fumigation and washing with Erwu decoction can have obvious effects on the degree of erythema and skin thickness,but only after persistent use for 4 weeks can the curative effect be different.Traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing assistant treatment of scleroderma(rheumatism arthralgia syndrome)can have a definite effect on the original treatment program,which can clearly alleviate some skin changes.And the operation is simple and the price is low,so it can be popularized.
