Part?Effects of endometriosis on the outcome in vitro fertilization and embryo transferObjective:To investigate the ovarian response,embryo quality and others outcomes of patients with endometriosis?EMs?after in vitro fertiliza-tion-embryo transfer?IVF-ET?treatment in infertile patients.Methods:Patients with endometriosis and tubal factor,undergoing IVF-ET in reproductive medicine center in the second hospital of Hebei medical university,were selected.Age,the duration of infertility and body mass index of the two groups were matched by 1:3.146 cases of endome-triosis with infertility were included in EMs group,and 438 cases of infertility with simple fallopian tube factor were included in control group.The clinical characteristics,laboratory characteristics and pregnancy outcomes of IVF in the two groups were retrospectively analyzed and compared.Results:1.There were no significant difference in the basal levels of follicle stimulating hormone?bFSH?,estradiol?bE₂?,luteinizing hormone?bLH?,progesterone?bP?,prolactin?bPRL?and testosterone?bT?between the EMs group and control group?P>0.05?.2.Duration of goadotropins,the goadotropins consumption,the endometrial thickness on the human chorionic gonadotropin injection day in the EMs group,were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant?P<0.05?.3.The serum estradiol levels on hCG injection day,number of basic antrol follicle count?AFC?,the retrieval oocytes number,2 pronuclear?2PN?number,number of embryo cleavage,number of transferable embryos,number of good-quality embryos,and rate of fertilization,rate of diploid zygotes,rate of good-quality embryos in EMs group were significantly lower than those in the control?P<0.05?.4.There was no significant difference in the cleavage rate,implantation rate,biochemical pregnancy rate,clinical pregnancy rate,abortion rate and live birth rate between the two groups?P>0.05?.Conclusion:Endometriosis has some adverse effects on ovarian responsiveness and embryo quality of IVF-ET,such as decreased number of eggs,good quality embryos and fertilization rate.Part?The effect of basal serum testosterone level on the pregnancy outcome of in Vitro fertilization and embryo transfer in patients with EndometriosisObjective:To study the effect of basal serum testosterone?bT?on pregnancy outcome of in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer?IVF-ET?in patients with endometriosis,and to evaluate the predictive value of serum basal testosterone on pregnancy outcome and its clinical significance.Methods:The clinical and laboratory data of IVF-ET patients with endometriosis complicated with infertility in the Reproductive Medicine Center of the second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from February2012 to December 2017 were analyzed retrospectively.A total of 89 cases of endometriosis were selected into pregnancy group?n=54?and non-pregnancy group?n=35?.The serum basal hormones were compared between the two groups to discuss whether the bT levels affected the pregnancy outcome.In addition,Receiver operating characteristic?ROC?was analyzed according to the pregnancy outcomes of endometriosis with different bT levels.According to the cutting values of the curves,The patients were divided into two groups:group C?bT?curve cutting value?and group D?bT<curve cutting value?.The relationship between bT level and pregnancy outcome of endometriosis was further explored.Results:The basal serum testosterone level,the cleavage number,number of 2PN and number of good-quality embryos in pregnancy group were significantly higher than those in non-pregnancy group?P<0.05?;The female age,serum basal follicle stimulating hormone and rate of diploid zygotes which were in group C were significantly lower than those in group D?P<0.05?.The level of serum estradiol,clinical pregnancy rate,cleavage rate and implantation rate in group C were significantly higher than those in group D?P<0.05?.Conclusion:Basal serum testosterone has preliminary predictive value for pregnancy outcome of endometriosis treated with IVF-ET,and the endometriosis can get better pregnancy outcome when basal testosterone level is higher than 0.255 ng/ml.
