A Study On Medical Safety Management Of Ningbo NO.2 Hospital Based On JCI Review

In recent years,the demand for medical services in China has been increasing continuously.However,the medical disputes and the contradictions between doctors and patients still have not been effectively controlled and improved,and attack on doctors by patients occurs from time to time.The frequent medical safety problems,which not only affect the normal order of medical institutions,but also seriously damage the physical and mental health of the medical staff and patients,as well as have damaged the brand and reputation of the hospital.How to systematically carry out the research and innovation of medical safety management,effectively change the concept of medical safety management,control the occurrence of medical safety(adverse)events,adapt to the constantly changing medical market under the new situation,and provide theoretical basis and strategic advice for health administration departments and hospital administrators,which is the key and purpose of this study.Based on the perspective of medical safety management,this paper uses literature analysis method,comparative research method,field investigation research method,through the statistical analysis of medical safety(adverse)events in Ningbo No.2 Hospital in 2016,this paper analyzes medical safety situation in detail from the cultural construction,management concept,Medical process,safety education and other aspects.It realizes the following problems: the relative absence of hospital safety culture;the passive hospital safety management mode;incomplete hospital information construction;insufficient hospital information sharing;loopholes in medical links,the deficient standardization of medical service operation;insufficient safety education and training,lacking of safety responsibility in the main body;serious problems in reporting medical safety(adverse)events;and weak points in the medical safety environment.Under the guidance of system theory,public service theory and pluralistic governance theory,with the reference of JCI standard(Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards for Hospitals),combined with the actual situation in the Second Hospital of Ningbo,and in view of the existing loopholes in medical security,it explores the resources and advantages of the hospital itself.The corresponding policy suggestions are put forward from the aspects of culture construction,management idea,information platform,operation rules,safety education,system construction,emergency response and improving environmental safety.With the purpose to carry out scientific and systematic management of medical safety,improve the quality of medical services,control the occurrence of medical safety(adverse)events,ensure the safety of patients and medical personnel,and provide the medical safety management theory basis and the strategy suggestion for the health administration department and the hospital manager.
