The Research Of Medical Safety Management System Of A High-end Women’s And Children’s Hospital

With the patient number highly increasing, on the other hand, the service capability of these medical establishments hasn’t been improved corresponding. In the current medical market of China, there are lots of unsafe medical issues and conflicts between doctors and patients. The patients and medical workers are suffering in physiology, Psychology and all social levels. The hospitals lost a lot in economies and reputation. These are all the challenges to hospital operation and management. The medical safety management has been the top issue of hospital management. An effective medical safety management system can ensure medical safety, promote the hospital brand image and improve hospital operaion efficiency.This paper researched with Hospital A, based on the analysis of the old medical safety management system and the related management principles. The author analyzed the research result domestic and overseas. And then, based on JCI standard and reference to the experience of airline business, the author came up to the "patient-focused" core idea, which is composed of four dimensions(culture, management, medical and service) and nine elements, which made up the hospital safety management system frame. Under this frame, the author made innovation and improvement of medical safety management. With the combination of medical service and non-medical service, synthesizing the physiological, psychological and social factors of patients, it made up a whole new "solid medical safety management system". It ensures the medical safety and the rights of patients and doctors at the most extended. This system was applied in Hospital A and had a good effect. It promoted the operation and brand image of Hospital A. This paper provided a good example and reference to hospital medical safety management.
