Background:Gallstones are a long-history disease. The gallstones found in the mummies can be about 4000 years old.How to prevent such an ancient disease always confuses humans. With the rapid development of the economy after China's reform and opening up,the people's living standards have gradually improved, and the incidence of gallstones has also increased. At present, the incidence of gallstones in China is about 10%.Because gallstones may induce acute pancreatitis and are closely related to gallbladder malignancies, gallstones need to be actively treated. At present, the mainstream treatment of gallstones in the world is laparoscopic cholecystectomy, which is acceptable to patients for its small trauma and rapid recovery. However,China has a large population base and high morbidity of gallstones,so the medical economic burden caused by it cannot be ignored;and laparoscopic cholecystectomy is also an important cause of iatrogenic bile duct injury,so how to prevent the occurrence of gallstones is still worth exploring.Studies have shown that the incidence of gallstones is younger in recent years, and the peak age of onset is 10 years earlier than before. The author also found that young patients with gallstones appear more and more common in the clinic, why are these patients so young? Is there any differences of the risk factors between young patients and middle-aged patients? If a certain risk factor is significantly larger in the youth group, can there be more preventive suggestion for young people? Methods:Search all patients undergoing cholecystectomy surgery in the past three years(June 1,2018-December 31,2018),group them, use SPSS software for random sampling, and then collect related information about these samples via our hospital's electronic medical record system. Finally analyze these data.Results:1.Gender distribution:the proportion of women in the youth group is 80.4%(41/54),and that of the elderly group is 61.9%(60/97),P<0.05.2.Overweight distribution:the overweight of the female youth group is 53.7%(22/41),the overweight proportion of the elderly group is 43.1%(25/58),P>0.05;In the male youth group, the overweight accounts for 70%(7/10),the elderly group is 48.7%(19/39),P>0.05;3.The adenomyosis case:the young combined adenomyosis accounts for 7.8%(4/51),older combined adenomyosis accounts for 15.5%(15/97),P>0.05;4.Plasma cholesterol level:plasma total cholesterol in female young patients with gallbladder stones is 4.42±0.90mmol/l,aged patients is 5.09±0.95mmol/l,P<0.05.The plasma total cholesterol is 4.36±0.69mmol/l in the male and young patients with gallstones, elderly patients is 4.55 ±0.8mmol/l,P>0.05.5.Triglyceride level:The mean value of plasma triglyceride in patients with gallbladder stones in women is 1.01 ±0.65 mmol/1,and elderly patients is 1.43±0.73 mmol/l,P<0.05;the mean plasma triglyceride is 1.15±0.40 mmol/1 in male and young patients with gallstones, and elderly patients is 1.17±0.64 mmol/1,P>0.05.6.High/low density lipoprotein levels:plasma High-density lipoprotein in young female patients with gallstones is 53.57±10.23 mg/dl,low-density lipoprotein is 94.39±28.84 mg/dl;elderly female patients is 51.57±10.70 mmol/1 and 109.03±29.01 mg/dl respectively. There is no significant difference in plasma HDL-C levels between the two age groups(P>0.05),but the difference of LDL-C levels between the two age groups is statistically significant(P<0.05).Plasma high-density lipoprotein is 48.96±11.72 mg/dl and low-density lipoprotein is 99.79±23.83 mg/dl in the young male patients with gallstones, and elderly male patients is 46.10±6.95 mmol/dl and 100.44±28.51 mg/dl respectively, however the difference of plasma HDL-C level and LDL-C level in males in both age groups is nonsense, because of both P>0.05.Conclusion:1.Risk factors such as lipid metabolism, overweight, and gallbladder adenomyosis have no difference in the effects between elderly and young patients with gallstones. The uniqueness of the risk factors for patients with gallstones in the young group has not been found.2.Among patients with gallstones no more than 30 years old,the proportion of female is significantly increased compared with patients between30 and 70 years old.
