Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Shengmai Powder in preventing and treating qi and yin deficiency syndrome after radiotherapy for esophageal carcinoma.Method:Sixty patients with radiotherapy for esophageal cancer were randomly divided into treatment group(n=30)and control group(n=30).The treatment group was treated with Shengmai Powder combined with radiotherapy,and the control group was treated with radiotherapy alone.Observe the clinical symptoms,quality of life and nutritional status of the two groups of patients before and after treatment.Then perform statistical analysis on the data.Result:The total score of TCM symptoms in the treatment group after treatment was better than that in the control group(P<0.05),in the treatment group,the symptoms of dryness,dryness,fatigue,hot flashes,night sweats,constipation,etc.were better than those of the control group(P<0.01).The incidence of radiation esophagitis in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The quality of life of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The nutritional status of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Shengmai Powder combined with radiotherapy group did not aggravate adverse reactions such as bone marrow suppression,liver and kidney injury,and had good safety.Conclusion:Shengmai Powder can improve the symptoms of qi and yin deficiency in patients with esophageal cancer radiotherapy,reduce the incidence of radiation esophagitis,improve the quality of life of patients and improve the nutritional status of patients.lt is worthy of clinical promotion.
