Clinical Treatment Research Of Yixin-Shengmai Powder On Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction Patients With Syndrome Of Deficiency Of Both Qi And Yin

Objectives:1. Content changes of N-terminal probrain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and fibrinogen in plasma (Fib) in serum of patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) were discussed in this paper.2. Relationship between NT-proBNP and Fib related to different severity of HFpEF was illustrated.3. Relationship comparison between NT-proBNP and Fib was also studied.4. Efficacy comparison was carried on between experimental group using western medicine with TCM therapy using Yixin Shengmai Powder and control group using only western medicine, the effect of the TCM therapy on the content value of NT-proBNP, Fib and heart color ultrasound during treatment would be found as well as the difference between the two groups. Methods:1. Two treatment groups were chosen from 60 HFpEF patients at random. One group is TCM treatment group, receiving traditional TCM of Yixin Shengmai Powder, and conventional western medicine, the other group is the. control group, only treated by conventional western medicine, the treatment period was 28 days.2. Content of NT-proBNP and Fib from both groups was detected before and after treatment.3. TCM syndrome change would be observed.4. Clinical syndrome and signs would be observed among both two groups before and after treatment.5. Difference on indicator of heart color ultrasound would be compared between the two groups before and after treatment.6. Safety indicator and change of blood pressure would be also observed. Results:1. Content of NT-proBNP (P<0.1) and Fib (P<0.1) from the experimental group obviously decreased after treatment, and Content of NT-proBNP (P<0.1) and Fib (P<=0.004<0.05) from the control group decreased after treatment,.2. TCM syndrome and curative effect of the TCM group was found significantly better than those of the control group.3. Content of NT-proBNP (P=0.021<0.05) and Fib (P=0.016<0.05) of HFpEF patients was found improved obviously.4. Content of NT-proBNP and Fib were found both increased, especially for that of NT-proBNP, and positive relationship between NT-proBNP and Fib of HFpEF patients was found. Conclusions:1. Yixin Shengmai Powder could significantly improve the symptoms, body signs and heart function of NT-ProBNP; 2.Yixin Shengmai Powder could reduce the NT-ProBNP content in blood serum and the Fib potency of blood plasma of patients; 3. Positive relationship was found between the NT-ProBNP content in blood serum and the Fib potency of blood plasma of the HFpEF patients; 4. Yixin Shengmai Powder could notably decrease the systolic pressure of the HFpEF patients; 5. Yixin Shengmai Powder could improve the ultrasonic detection indicators, such as E/E、E/A、 EF.
