Clinical Observation Of Shengmaisan And Zengye Decoction Combined With Radiotherapy For Treatment Of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma With Deficiency Of Both Qi And Yin

Objective:Toexplore the clinical efficacy of Shengmai powder combined with Zeng ye decoction plus radiotherapy in the treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma with deficiency of Qi and Yin.Methods:80 patients with Qi and Yin deficiency type nasopharyngeal carcinoma were randomly divided into the treatment group(40 cases)and the control group(40 cases).The two groups were all received radiotherapy.The treatment group took the Shengmai Powder Combined with the decoction and the decoction to reduce the decoction for 7 weeks at the beginning of the radiotherapy.Statistical methods were used to evaluate the lesion size,KPS scores,TCM syndrome score,and side effects after radiotherapy.Results:1.In the short-term efficacy of solid tumors,the effective rate of tumor remission in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group,but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).2.In the KPS scores,the KPS scores of the two groups were all increased after treatment,and the level of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.In TCM syndrome score,the treatment group was better than the control group in the nasal plug,dry mouth dryness,headache,deafness tinnitus,fatigue,sweating and sweating,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.In the treatment group and the control group,the incidence of oral mucosa injury,salivary gland injury and skin injury were significantly decreased in the treatment group and the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Shengmai Powder Combined with Zeng Ye Decoction plus radiotherapy can reduce the tumor of the patients with both Qi and Yin deficiency type nasopharyngeal carcinoma to a certain extent.2.Shengmai Powder Combined with Zeng Ye decoction combined with radiotherapy can relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma with deficiency of both qi and Yin,improve the KPS scores and improve the quality of life of patients.3.Shengmai Powder plus Zeng ye decoction can reduce the incidence of oral mucosa injury,salivary gland injury and skin damage caused by radiotherapy.
