A Case Study On The Involvement Of Social Organizations In The Prevention And Treatment Of AIDS

In recent years,the AIDS epidemic situation is increasingly serious,the prevention and treatment task is arduous,it is urgent.The government has introduced a series of policies to support AIDS prevention and treatment.However,limited energy and resources make it still appear in the field of AIDS prevention failures,and social organizations in AIDS prevention and treatment work is playing an increasingly important role.Based on the theories of collaborative governance,social capital and government failure,this study uses the methods of literature review,interview and participation observation to conduct a case study on Q institutions,so as to explore the huge advantages of social organizations in participating in AIDS prevention and treatment compared with the government and effectively making up for the government's deficiencies.Its many advantages enable social organizations to achieve a lot of results in the work of AIDS prevention and AIDS prevention has a huge role in promoting the development of the cause.But in the public opinion of HIV/AIDS stigma,AIDS society organizations to participate in the work exists so on many difficulties from the fund,policy,organization,service object and public aspects and these difficulties seriously hindered the development of the social organizations and the advantages to play,which affects the whole cause of AIDS process,so we need to take effective measures to eliminate these difficulties.According to China's national conditions,the author suggests that at the current stage we should firstly identify the breakthrough point to break the stigma of AIDS,provide corresponding policy guarantee on this basis,and provide social organizations with cultivation resources and sufficient funds and guide supportive public opinion.And the anti-aids social organizations should take the initiative to strengthen their own capacity building with the help of the government to improve their independent management and operation ability.Only by integrating social organizations into the important role of AIDS prevention and treatment and creating favorable conditions for their advantages in the field of AIDS prevention and treatment,can they make full use of their advantages to effectively promote the development of AIDS prevention and treatment,thus contributing to the formation of a good social order and the construction of a harmonious socialist society.
