Background:Daoyin that combines respiratory motility with physical activity,is beneficial to physical and mental health.It can not only enhances human body quality and disease resistance,but also is a treasures of Chinese traditional culture.From the develop of two thousand years,the content,form,inherent health and cultural implications of Daoyin are constantly expanding and expanding.Different from drug treatment,Daoyin is a kind of physical exercise,which has the functions of curing life,enhancing physical fitness,treating a variety of chronic diseases,at the same time,it also avoids many drawbacks of drug treatment(such as side effects).In the history of Chinese medicine,many famous doctors have advocated Daoyin for health care.The famous doctor Hua Tuo created the wu qin xi,which has great impetus to future medical and health care,and in later generations of the Eastern Jin Dynasty,Ge Hong,Sun Simiao and other doctors wrote many articles which also mentioned the effects of Daoyin.With the development of productivity,the rapid development of social economy,the material life of the people has been greatly enriched,and technology is changing with each passing day,electronic products are increasingly applied to modern life.However,these rapid developments also bring physical and mental health problems that are difficult for medicine.Modern people's demand for health care is also growing rapaidly.Daoyin is a good method of keeping health.It not only does not require additional equipment,but also has no requirements for the venue.As can bring physical and mental health effects,Chinese traditional Daoyin has once again been recognized by the world.The standing and sitting Baduanjin as a unique Chinese medicine guide health practice is an excellent traditional fitness program of the Chinese nation and a treasure of Chinese traditional health culture.The action is simple,and tis site requirements are also not harsh.The implementation and effect of Baduanjin is so remarkable,which is deeply loved by the public.By long-term practice can balance yin and yang,reconcile qi and blood,plays a vital role of stay healthy and prevent all kinds of disease.However,during the development and evolution of Baduanjin,there have been many rumors and mistakes.For example,the initial age is not clear,and who was the first man wrote about Baduanjin?What is the difference and connection between the sitting Baduanjin and the standing Baduanjin?The phenomenon of this kinds of mistakes and mysteries are everywhere.In the academic world,there is no unified and perfect work currently.In addition,there are phenomena such as the adaptation of feudal superstitions,the effect of exaggerating and even deifying the effects of the exercises due to the limitations of the times.This makes people unable to obtain the benefits of life maintenance,even woresly cause physical and mental damage.Further more,as lack of understanding of the basic theory of Chinese medicine and the principles of Baduanjin,it is likely to do wrong movements for most common people,which not only has no good for health,and even damage the body.What's more it can hinders the real healthy development of excellent Baduanjin.During 2003 to 2010,the Qigong Management Center of the General Administration of Sports of China had launched nine kinds of "new Daoyin",such as wu qin xi,Liu zi jue,Ba duan jin and Yi jin jing and so on,which were created on the basis of tradition Daoyin.This sets of Health Qigong·Baduanjin have strong effect to our health,but we should not satisfied with it.There are many problems that need to be solved.The first one is the version and source of Baduanjin,How many kinds of Baduanjin there are?and what is the relationship between them?What's more,why shaking head can reduce the "fire of heart",what the TCM principles of this motions?All of these require us to look up relevant theories from the ancient literature and then explain them in combination with modern science.Objectives:Because of the development,there are some misinformation,leakage,and confusion in sitting and standing Baduanjin.In addition,up to now,the theoretical research on Baduanjin,including the development of origin and the study of the principles of health,are far from insufficiency.The intrinsic meaning of Baduanjin is lack of in-depth discussion and research,and the theoretical system is still not perfect.Sitting and standing Baduanjin,as a traditional health practice,is also an important part of TCM health.In the development of Baduanjin,people's valuable experience and thoughts,which accumulated in the attempt and struggle to life and fight disease,have been added in it.More over,in the course of its development,different doctors from differnt generations have continuously integrated their own experiences in to it.Baduanjin contains wealth of medical and cultural ideas that deserve to be studied.Of course,due to the limitations of the science and technology,Baduanjin also has some unscientific or feudal superstitions.These need to distinguish between true and false from a professional perspective.Only by understanding the principle can we grasp the essence of health effect of Baduanjin,Moreover,Baduanjin is closely related to the basic theory of TCM.Every song of the standing Baduanjin involves the concept of zangxiang or the concept of disease syndrome of TCM.And,there are many concepts of Taoist.However,the traditional research mostly analyzes the fitness principle of Baduanjin from the perspective of sports,lacking the professional analysis from the perspective of TCM and Taoist health.Based on the ancient literature,there are few studies focus on the health principles of Baduanjin.Moreover,researches are mostly biased on the standing Baduanjin,and more than 90%of the articles are analyzed and discussed in the standing Baduanjin,and the analysis of the health principles of the sitting octopus is extremely lackingIn order to better study and inherit the Baduanjin,it is necessary to carefully sort out the origin of the source,and also to clarify the principles of its health,not only in the medical history level,but also to grasp the context of the occurrence,development and change of Baduanjin.The study can promote the solid theoretical foundation of Baduanjin in the future,it can provide the people with the correct traditional guiding techniques for the health and well-being of the people.Also It is a meager force in inheriting and promoting the Chinese traditional culture.Methods:Literature Research Methodology:The development of this research began with the retrieval of a large number of relevant literature.For modern literature retrieval,mainly use the network and the academic search engine,including China Knowledge Network(CNKI),VIP,Wanfang Database,and China Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),by the input key words of Baoduanjin,Sitting Baduanjin,standing Baduanjin,Historical Sources and Protection Principles etc.,and search from the date of the time of construction to February 2019.More than 100 papers related to Baduanjin were selected.The selected literatures were read and analyzed in the whole article,and the literature was comprehensively applied.And the by reading the historical research,combies and summarizes the comprehensive collection of Baduanjin,summes up the origin,development and role of the evidence of the eight paragraphs.Descriptive research method:Through the objective and accurate description and interpretation of the relevant content in the literature,using scientific methods,such as logic analysis,to better ask questions and sum up experience,and healp the creation of modern health practice.Experience summarization method:Visiting the the experts and editors of General Administration of Sports of China,and also investigating the folk inheritors of Baduanjin,make more understanding and summarization of Baduanjin and modern health exercises.By the basis of the above research methods,using the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine,including the basic theory of Chinese medicine,the theory of meridians theory,the theory of qi and blood,etc.,explain the principle of the practice of Baduanjin and explore its health value,to make good theoretical foundation of it.Result:After strict screening,careful reading and inclusion of the literature,I found that the existing literature about on Baduanjin have no full study the concept,origin and development of it.It is still confused and vague,lack of horizontal and standingcontrast studies,and there is also no perfect systematic discussion.Historical sources:There are basically two major mistakes,one is to confuse sitting vertical.It does not profoundly indicate its impact or give effective improvement measures.Second,mistakenly regarded the studisd that came after the Song Dynasty as the Jin Dynasty.Achievements have been in-depth research on the spread and development of the Ming Dynasty.The research on the various functions of the opposite type of Baduanjin is very rich.The seated Baduanjin was set early,with little change,but it should also be carefully analyzed from the source of each action.The standing Baduanjin brocade is late,and there are many evolutionary processes in the prograss.It should be analyzed in detail.This is a longitudinal historical analysis.The horizontal study should compare the similar content in other guiding methods in the same period,as well as the influence of the development of TCM theory and health theory.The next study should also trace the roots and analyze the source and development of the Baduanjin.Health principles:In general,relevant research is still not enough.First,there is no more powerful evidence from the ancient books to discuss the principles of health of Baduanjin.The interpretation of the theoretical level of TCM theory and modern medicine is superficial and lacking.Secondly,all the existing researches are focused on the standing Baduanjin,and the analysis of the health principles of the sitting Baduanjin is lack.There are still many articles,basically relying on the literature data method,the logic analysis method,the induction method,and the analysis of the influence of the standing Baduanjin on the physical and mental health of the practitioners(the elderly and the student group).Its purpose is mainly to show that Healthy Qigong-Baduanjin s a major impact on the fitness values for people.Chen Qiyu tried to study the standing Baduanjin with the basics of Chinese medicine.There are also researchers who compare the standing Baduanjin with yoga.All this proves:Baduanjin is rich in content and easy to learn,practice Baduanjin can really improve people's mental health,respiratory system and immune system,and also help regulate the human digestive system,strengthen the body,improve immunity,and finally achieve the fitness effect of prolonging life.Conclusion:The source of sitting Baduanjin:It begins Song.The early prototype was found in Liang,basically shaped in Song,and the name was named in Yuan.After the Ming Dynasty,the sitting Baduanjin was widely spread.Many of the Baduanjin that appeared in the health literature before the Qing Dynasty refer to the sitting Baduanjin,formerly known as Zhong Li Baduanjin.Until the modern standing Baduanjin became popular,it was renamed the sitting Baduanjin and Shierduanjin.The origin of the standing Baduanjin:The standing Baduanjin is the inheritance and development of the daoyin of Mawangdui culture.The earliest record of the standing Baduanjin is from Tao Hongjing's "National Deferred Record".The standing Baduanjin was basically shaped in the Southern Song Dynasty.During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,it had many different names and always confused with the names of sitting Baduanjin.Liang Shichang was the first man to give the name of the as Baduanjin".In summary,the corresponding study should clearly distinguish between sitting and standing Baduanjin.The sitting Baduanjin,which was developed by Zhong Li Baduanjin,is different from the wide range of Baduanjin that requaired standing(standing Baduanjin).And the foreign language translation should also be changed.There is no mandatory requirement in life,but in academic research,"Baduanjin" can only be used in the following two situations:First,when describe the two Baduanjin,the sitting Baduanjin and the standing Baduanjin,,can use"Baduanjin".Second,when citing the contents of the ancient literature,which the original text quoted is so,there is no need to changeHealth Preservation Theory of Baduanjin:sitting Baduanjin and standing Baduanjin both have significant health effects,and their roles in health are different.They all have their own distinctive features and emphasis.The standing Baduanjin has simple movements and clear functions,and it has been formed since the Song Dynasty.From the end of the Qing Dynasty to the present,the status of the standing Baduanjin has played an important role in health practice.The standing Baduanjin has the characteristics of soft movement and coherent nature.Regular practice of it can ventilate the blood,and soften the body.In the same way,sitting Baduanjin,as a set of many supportive health exercises in ancient times,the effect is significant.The sitting Baduanjin can show the functions of keeping and maintaining health by opening the meridians and collaterals and can also adjust emotions in psychology,and plays a role in heaith.Because of modern life,people are less likely to accept the practice of qigong and other Daoyin.However,sitting Baduanjin is very suitable for sitting in bed before going to sleep and after waking up.Because of gentle movement,it is more suitable for the elderly and the poor physical fitness to practice.The two kinds of Baduanjin focal point and characteristics are different,and they both deserve the same attention and development.Shortage&ExpectationAt present,the number of studies on the history and health preservation theory of Baduanjin is limited.China has the culture of borrowing others names to write articles,and which makes it more difficult to search and identify from ancient books.Therefore,the views in this paper still need further study and demonstrated.Standing Baduanjin has been widely spread,but all practitioners are practicing almost the same version.In order to achieve better health effects,different ages and physical conditions(such as patients with different diseases)should be adapted to different groups of people.According to this,we can develop some different movements of Baduanjin to meet the needs of different groups of people.It is also possible to increase the action of strengthening the corresponding viscera function for certain chronic diseases,as to better achieve the purpose of assisting rehabilitation.In short,with the development of society,modern people are more and more aware of the important of Daoyin,and the medical community has begun to pay attention to and study non-medical treatments.Baduanjin,an ancient Chinese traditional Daoyin,is also worthy of better research and development.The theoretical basis is to provide the people with the correct traditional guidance for the health and well-being of the public,and to make contribution to the inheritance and promotion of Chinese traditional culture.
