Objective To understand the prevalence of overweight and obesity among adult in Futian District, and to explore the related influencing factors of overweight, obesity and central obesity by decision tree model,in order to provide scientific basis for formulating strategies and measures to prevent and control adult overweight and obesity. Methods From September to November 2018,a multi-stage random sampling method was used to collect the resident residents aged 18 years and older to participate in the study in Futian District,Shenzhen. The subjects were overweight and obese by questionnaire and physical examination. And information on central obesity and its related influencing factors. The general sociodemographic characteristics of the subjects were described by frequency, composition ratio/rate,mean,standard deviation and other indicators. The t test was used to compare the BMI and waist circumference of the subjects.The?~2 test used to analyze different sociodemographic characteristics and lifestyles among adult in overweight, obesity, and central obesity rates;the logistic regression model and decision tree model was used to explore risk factors affecting overweight, obesity, and central obesity in adults.Results1.The prevalence of overweight and obesity of subjects in the study:the overweight rate of adults was 29.35%,the obesity rate was 7.40%,and the central obesity rate was 49.30%in Futian District. The BMI and waist circumference of males were higher than those of females, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.The distribution of overweight and obesity of subjects in the study:The overweight, obesity, and central obesity rates(41.16%,10.41%,and59.32%,respectively)of males were higher than women(21.04%,5.28%,and 42.25%,respectively),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The rates of overweight and obesity increased with age,and decreased slightly after age 40,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Smoking/quitping,drinking,long-term meditation, and short-sleeping subjects had a higher rates of overweight and obesity, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of obesity in those who consumed more than 400g of staple food and livestock meat was higher than that of less than 400g,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The more number of chronic diseases, the higher the overweight and obesity rate, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the rates of overweight and obesity among subjects with different physical activities(P>0.05).3.The results of logistic regression analysis of overweight and obesity:gender, age, the number of chronic diseases, daily meditation time and daily sleep time were the influencing factors of overweight.Gender, smoking, the number of chronic diseases, daily sleep time, daily consumption of staple food, daily consumption of meat, and daily salt intake were the influencing factors of obesity.Gender, age, the number of chronic diseases, daily sleep time, and daily consumption of fruit were the influencing factors of central obesity.4.The influencing factors analysis results of overweight and obesity among adults by decision tree model:age, gender, the number of chronic diseases, education, occupation and daily consumption of vegetables were the influencing factors of overweight.Smoking, household registration, the number of chronic diseases, the daily consumption of vegetables, gender and daily sleep time were the influencing factors of obesity.Age,gender, the number of chronic diseases, household registration, daily sleep time, daily meditation time and daily fruit consumption were the influencing factors of central obesity.Conclusion1.The overweight, obesity and central obesity rate of adults is at a high level in Futian District;the overweight, obesity and central obesity rate of males is higher than that of females;the overweight and obesity rates increase with age.2.It is feasible to use the decision tree model to explore the influencing factors of overweight and obesity in adults.Age,gender, the number of chronic diseases, education level, occupation, smoking, household registration, sleep time and daily vegetable consumption are the influencing factors of overweight and obesity among adult.
