Objective:(1)To explore the influencing factors of overweight/obesity and the correlation between overweight/obesity and constitution of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),so as to provide scientific basis for the early prevention of overweight and obesity.(2)Systematic review of randomized controlled trials of weight management intervention in overweight/obesity to provide evidence-based evidence for clinical application of weight management in TCM.Methods:(1)Adopt 1:1 case-control design,210 overweight/obese patients were selected from the outpatient department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Tutor clinic from February 2022 to October 2022 as the case group. In the same period,210 cases of normal weight were taken as control group. Both groups were filled in the overweight/obesity influencing factors questionnaire and the TCM body weight questionnaire. The influencing factors were collected using univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis. The constitution types were collected and analyzed by multivariate Logistic regression.(2)Four databases,China Knowledge Resource Integrated Database(CNKI),Wanfang Data Know]edge Service Plat form,China Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),and VIP Chinese Journal Service Platform(VIP)were searched by computer. To collect the RCT literature about the intervention of TCM Weight Management Model/method on overweight/obesity.The search period is from October 23,2022.The quality of the literature was assessed by 2 reviewers using the Cochrane risk bias assessment tool and a Meta-analysis was performed using Rev Man 5.3software.Results:(1)The results of single factor Logistic regression analysis showed that family obesity, smoking, drinking, diet, animal meat, greasy food, high sugar food, snack, eating speed, exercise duration, exercise frequency, sitting time, tension or pressure, depression, sleep quality and sleeping time were related to overweight/obesity.The related factors obtained from single factor analysis were analyzed by multi-factor Logistic regression. It was found that family obesity[OR=1.819,95%CI=(1.456,2.273),P=0.000],animal meat preference [OR=1.704,95%CI=(1.144,2.536),P=0.009],snack preference [OR=1.882,95%CI=(1.255,2.823),P=0.002],short duration of exercise [OR=0.634,95%CI=(0.420,0.959),P=0.031],tension or pressure [OR=2.594,95%CI=(1.638,4.108),P=0.000],alcohol consumption[OR=1.873,95%CI=(1.209,2.902),P=0.005] were risk factors for overweight/obesity.The results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of overweight/obesity in phlegm-dampness constitution[OR=4.625,95%CI=(2.349,9.107),P=0.000] and damp-heat constitution[OR=3.974,95%CI=(2.028,7.790),P=0.000] was significantly higher than that in calmness constitution.(2)A total of 8 articles were included, with a total sample size of 874,including 439 cases in the trial group and 435 cases in the control group.Meta-analysis showed that the model/method of weight management with TCM characteristics improved BMI [MD=-1.94,95%CI=(-2.28,-1.61),weight[MD=-5.76,95%CI=(-7.18,-4.35),P<0.05],Waist circumference[MD=-3.18,(95%CI=-5.69,-0.67),P<0.05],TC[MD=-0.17,95%CI=(-0.26,-0.07),P<0.05],LDL[MD=-0.23,95%CI=(-0.35,-0.11),P<0.05].Conclusion:(1)Family obesity, animal meat preference, snack preference, short duration of exercise, tension or pressure, alcohol consumption are risk factors for overweight/obesity.Phlegm-dampness and heat-dampness are risk factors for overweight/obesity.(2)TCM weight management has certain advantages in improving BMI,weight, waist circumference,TC,LDL.
