| Objective:According the Professor Qiu' s experience of application of Ganlu Qingchang Pill in the treatment of cases of chronic functional constipation with acne Of Yin deficiency and heat,this project aims to carry out the efficacy of Ganlu Qingchang Pills on improving of constipation with acne of patients in order to expand the indications of ganlu qingchang pills and highlight the advantages of traditional Chinese medicineMethod:A total of 80 patients who met the inclusion criteria of chronic functional constipation of Yin deficiency and heat with acne attending for the outpatient department of the Second Chinese Medicine Hospital of Guangdong Province from May 2017 to December 2018 joined in the project.They were randomly divided into two groups.40 patients in the treatment group were treated with Ganlu Qingchang Pills for 3 times a day,10ml each time while the last 40 patients in the control group were given Lactulose Oral Solution for both 3 times a day but 10g each time.Before and after the experiment of 4 weeks,the quantitative scoring of the degree of improvement of the constipation with acne and the patients' constipation clinical symptoms were collected to be analyzed by SPSS 22.0 statistical software.Result:The clinical efficacy in the treatment of constipation:the total effective rate of the treatment group given Ganlu Qingchang Pill was 90.5%,while the Control group given Lactulose oral solution was 67.5%.The treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).Chinese traditional medicine clinical symptom scale score comparison:after treatment,the total score of the treatment group decreased to 4.15±2.84 and the control group decreased to 7.65±3.65,it showed the treatment group value was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01).Two groups constipation self-evaluation comparison:After treatment,the score of constipation of the treatment group was 11.18±5.129 which was significantly higher than that of the control group(14.25±4.57)(P<0.01).The improvement of acne skin lesion scores:the acne skin lesion scores of the treatment group and the control group were reduced to 7.83±4.41 and 10.07±5.31 respectively.The improvement degree of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of acne improvement:the total effective rate of acne improvement was 75.0%in the treatment group which was higher significantly than that of the control group(47.5%)(P<0.05).Correlation analysis between constipation improvement and acne treatment:The correlation index between constipation self-evaluation difference and acne lesions difference in the treatment group before and after the treatment was 0.670(P<0.01),and the control group was 0.539(P<0.05).All suggested a moderate positive correlation,improving constipation could make the treatment of acne better.Recurrence rate:The recurrence rate of constipation of the treatment group was 5.0%,which was lower significantly than that of the control group(22.5%)(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of acne of the treatment group was 20%compared with 32.5%of the control group indicating the difference between the two groups was not significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Based on the above statistical results,it is concluded that Ganlu Qingchang Pill is effective in treating chronic functional constipation of Yin deficiency and dryness-heat type.It also benefits from improving the clinical symptoms of constipation,alleviating constipation and promoting acne improvement,which was worthy of wide application in clinic. |
