Analysis Of TCM Constitution Types In Patients With Prostate Cancer

ObjectiveAnalysis of TCM constitutional characteristics of patients with prostate cancer,and to analyze the relationship between them and related influencing factors,in order to find a better way to prevent and treat prostate cancer,and provide new ideas for Chinese medicine treatment or prevention of prostate cancer.MethodsThrough the clinical investigation and research methods of epidemiology,the patient is instructed to correctly and truthfully fill out the TCM Physical Fitness Survey Scale,collection of TCM constitutions of prostate cancer patients admitted to the Department of Urology,Men' s Clinic or Inpatient Department of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2017 to February 2019.To understand the TCM constitutional characteristics of patients,and to analyze the correlation between TCM constitution and age,smoking,body mass index,bone metastasis,Gleason score and pathological staging of patients with prostate cancer using chi-square test,Fisher' s exact experience and Monte Carlo simulation.Results1.The distribution of TCM constitution in 214 patients with prostate cancer is characterized by:Qi deficiency>Blood Stasis>Yang deficiency>Gentleness>Phlegm and dampness>Qi stagnation>Yin deficiency>Damp heat>Idiosyncrasy,The proportion of various constitutions is:Qi deficiency 47.20%,Blood Stasis 28.97%,Yang deficiency 2.47%,Gentleness 22.90%,Phlegm moisture 20.56%,Qi stagnation 18.22%,Yin deficiency 13.55%,Damp heat 12.62%,Idiosyncrasy 4.21%,the results showed that Qi deficiency,Blood Stasis and Yang deficiency were the main TCM constitutions of patients with prostate cancer.2,There is a correlation between the type of TCM constitution and the age of patients with prostate cancer.Among them,middle-aged people are mainly Gentleness,young and old people are mainly Qi deficiency,Gentleness,and Blood Stasis,and the elderly are qi deficiency and Blood Stasis,the yang deficiency is the main factor of the elderly,and the longevity old people are mainly Qi deficiency.Conclusion1.Qi deficiency is the most important TCM constitution for patients with prostate cancer,and there are more patients with prostate cancer who have constitution of Blood Stasis and Yang deficiency.2.Age is a factor affecting the constitution of TCM patients with prostate cancer,and there is a certain correlation between them.3.TCM constitutional theory can provide new ideas for prevention,screening and treatment of prostate cancer patients or high-risk groups of prostate cancer.
