The Study Of Correlation Between TCM Syndromes And Constitution Of Lupus

Objective:Through the clinical investigation of systemic lupus erythematosus patients,try to explore the correlation between Chinese medical syndrome and constitution of systemic lupus erythematosus patients.To apply the diagnosis and treatment model of“Syndrome differentiation-disease differentiation-constitution differentiation " in individual i zed treatment effectively,and to improve the level of treatment of SLE.Methods104 patients who has met the diagnostic criterion of systemic lupus erythematosus were interviewed and filled up the questionnaires.The questionnaires consist of WANG Qi ' s nine kinds of TCM constitutions questionnaire and TCM syndrome of lupus questionnaire designed objectively for this research.All data were processed by SPSS 22.0 and we can obtain some information about correlation in constitution and syndrome of lupus patients.Results1.A total of 104 SLE cases were included in this study.It was found that the onset age of SLE patients was concentrated between 20 and 40 years old and the gender ratio was close to 1:14.Women at childbearing age are the main SLE patients2.104 cases of SLE patients have different syndrome compositions.The distribution of syndromes from high to low followed by syndrome of yin deficiency with internal heat,syndrome of spleen and kidney yang deficiency,syndrome of spleen deficiency and liver prosperi ty,syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis,heat and toxicity excessive syndrome.TCM syndromes are age-related.The average age of patients with syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis is the eldest in all types of syndrome,followed by syndrome of spleen and kidney yang deficiency.The average age of patients with syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis was older than that of patients with syndrome of yin deficiency with internal heat and syndrome of spleen and kidney yang deficiency.(P>0.05)3.The TCM constitution types in 104 SLE patients were different in general.Most of patients were biased constitution while Yin deficiency,blood stasis and yang deficiency were common.There were statistically significant differences in the age distribution of SLE patients with different constitution types.16-30 years old patients,Ying deficiency,gentle quality and Yang deficiency are the majority;aged 31-48 in patients with Yin deficiency,blood stasis and Yang deficiency are;49-65 years old patients with yang deficiency and blood stasis.The constitution types of TCM are also related to the course of the disease.SLE patients with different constitution types in the distribution of course of disease were statistically significant.There is no difference in the distribution of constitution types of patients with a course of disease within one year or one year.The majority of constitution types of patients with a course of 2-5 years are Yin deficiency,blood stasis and Yang deficiency,while Yin deficiency,Qi deficiency and Yang deficiency are common in the patients with a course of 6-9 years.More than 10years in patients with blood stasis,Yang deficiency and Yin deficiency are to see more.4.Through statistical analysis,there were significant differences between syndromes and constitution types in 104 SLE patients.In the patients with syndrome of yin deficiency with internal heat,Yang deficiency is susceptible constitution.In the patients with syndrome of spleen and kidney yang deficiency,Yang deficiency is susceptible constitution and Qi deficiency is the susceptible constitutions of the patients with syndrome of spleen deficiency and liver prosperity.Conclusion1.The main constitution type of patients with SLE is syndrome of yin deficiency with internal heat.The distribution of syndrome is related to age.2.The main constitution types of patients with SLE are Yin deficiency,Blood stasis and Yang deficiency.The distribution of constitution is related to age and course of diease.3.The distribution of syndrome is related to TCM constitution.The theory of syndrome differentiation-disease differentiation-constitution differentiation can provide theoretical basis for the corresponding prevention,treatment and medication principles for clinical establishment.
