Clinical Study Of The Wumeiwan Decoction Combined Herbal Fumigation In The Treatment Of DPN

Purpose:To observe and evaluate the efficacy and safety of wumei pill combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing in order to improve the neurophysiologieal and TCM syndrome manifestations of patients with Jueyin-type diabetie peripheral neuropathy,and to explore its possible mechanism.The experimental results are further used to guide the clinical and increase the traditional Chinese medicine treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.Method:The subject of th:is study was patients from the diabetes Department of Bao'an traditional Chinese,medieine Hospital,The experiment adopte,d a prospective randomized single blind controlled test method,and divided the qualified subjects into control group(basic treatment+methylcobalt amine+warm boiling water fumigation)and treatment group(basic treatment+umei pill combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation).Each group had 50 cases.The observation period of the two groups was 8 weeks.To observe the related curative effect index and make statistical analysis.Result:1.Both groups were able to improve the symptoms of TCM in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy of Jueyin type.Total efficiency of the treatment group was 93.48%and control group was 73.33%.It can be considered that the treatment group is superior to the control group in improving the curative effect of TCM symptoms.Analysis of the statistical results showed that the treatment group,namely Wumeiwan combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing group,was better than the control group in improving the efficacy of TCM syndrome.2.Both groups were able to improve the peripheral nerve function of patients with DPN.The total effective rate of MDN S was 68.9 in the control group and 93.5 in the treatment group.Wumeiwan decotion combined with herbal fumigation treatment group was better than that of simple Western medicine treatment group in improving the efficacy of MDNS score.Both groups can effectively improve diabetic peripheral neuropathy.The statistical treatment showed that the increase in nerve conduction amplitude,speed,and reduction of MDNS score were larger than those of the control group(P<0.05).It can be considered that Wumeiwan decotion combined with herbal fumigation group is superior to that of Western medicine group in improving nerve conduction function and reducing MDNS score.3.In the course of treatment,there was no adverse reaction in the fumigation group of Wumeiwan decotion combined with herbal fumigation treatment group.Conclusion:Wumeiwan decotion combined with herbal fumigation treatment can improve the symptoms,signs and nerve conduction function of Chinese medicine in patients with Jueyin type diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
