Objective: Through observation and evaluation of the feasibility and effectiveness of rijiaweidingchuan decoction combined with conventional western medicine in the treatment of acute bronchial asthma(asthma syndrome)with qingfei qufeng pingchuan method as the treatment principle, this study provides reference basis and research direction for the clinical application of this method in the control and treatment of asthma. Methods: From December 2017 to November 2018,62 patients with cough and wheezing as the main complaints in the respiratory department outpatient department of zhejiang Province of traditional Chinese medicine were selected, and the western medicine diagnosis was consistent with the acute phase of bronchial asthma, and the Chinese medicine syndrome was consistent with the syndrome of wheezing.According to the principle of distribution of random grouping, divided into control group and traditional Chinese and western medicine combined with western medicine treatment group, the western medicine control group 30 cases were given budesonide f ROM mott inhalation powder(letter will)joint meng sodium rust(singulair),combining Chinese and western medicine treatment group and 32 cases in the western medicine control group on the basis of the treatment of oral flavored soup treating. Before treatment, there was no significant difference in symptoms, signs and general data between the two groups. After 14 days of treatment, the efficacy of TCM syndromes, clinical symptoms, onset time,ACT score and other data of patients in the two groups were observed and recorded. Objective to evaluate the clinical effect of jiawei dingchuan decoction on bronchial asthma in acute stage(heat asthma syndrome). Results:A total of 62 PAtients were enrolled in this study. Two cases were lost in the treatment group and 60 cases were finalized.Among them,30 cases were trated by TCM-WM and 30 cases were Western-medicine.Before treatment, the age, gender, course of disease, degree of disease severity,ACT score and TCM syndrome score of the two groups were compared, and the results were not statistically different and comparable, all were comparison.(1)Comparison of clinical efficacy rate: In the control group of western medicine, there were 3 cases of asthma control,14 cases of significant effect,11 cases of effective effect,2 ccases of ineffective effect,93%.In the treatment group of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, there were 5 cases of asthma control,17 cases of significant effect,8 cases of effective effect,0 cases of ineffective effect, and the total effective rate was 100%,and the total effective rate of the two groups was statistically different by chi-square test(rank sum test:P=0.041<0.05).(2)Comparison of TCM syndrome points, total points and lung signs:There was no significant difference in the scores of chest tightness before and after treatment between the two groups, but,There were statistically significant differences in improvement in cough, sputum, and wheezing symptom scores, total scores, and lung signs scores,In addition, the treatment group with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine was significantly better than the control group in improving cough.(3)comparison of Effective time: Comparison of scores on the questionnaire for the use of nebulizer salbutamol sulfate as needed and asthma control test:Before and after treatment, there was a significant statistical difference between the two groups in the onset time(P=0.017<0.05),suggesting that the treatment group with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine can improve the clinical symptoms of patients more quickly.(4)Comparison of scores on the questionnaire for the use of nebulizer salbutamol sulfate as needed and asthma control test(ACT):Before and after treatment, there were statistically significant differences in the frequency of using salbutamol sulfate aerosol as needed and ACT scale scores between the two groups,it is suggested that the treatment group of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine can better control the acute attack of asthma and improve the level of asthma control than the control group of western medicine.(5)Comparison of safety:No obvious adverse reactions occurred during the treatment in both groups. Conclusion: Jiaweidingchuan decoction has good clinical efficacy in improving cough, expectoration and wheezing symptoms of asthma patients, which can relieve acute symptoms of asthma more quickly, improve the overall control level, and has good safety, reflecting the value of traditional medicine.
