Objective:In order to ensure the discharge safety of patients with enterostomy and reduce the rate of re admission and complications after discharge, this study investigated the status and influencing factors of readiness for hospital discharge in patients with enterostomy.According to the investigation,in order to intervene the discharge preparation of patients with enterostomy from the nursing point of view, interview the nurses of the enterostomy department, understand the present situation of the discharge nursing service of the enterostomy patients, and discuss the nursing countermeasures to improve the level of the discharge preparation of the enterostomy patients. Methods:Part one: a convenience sampling method was used to select 202 enterostomy patients from June 2017 to December in two 3A-grade hospitals in Wuhan. The Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale(RHDS)was used to investigate the status of the discharge readiness of the subjects.SPSS 22 was used for data analysis to evaluate the status of discharge readiness, and the factors of influence were analyzed by single factor analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis. The second part: according to the research results of the first part, interviews with 12 in-service nurses in a 3A-grade hospital in Wuhan were conducted by semi-structured interview to understand the status quo of discharged nursing services for patients with enterostomy.Analyzing and sorting out the data and refining the subject.Results:1.The total score of RHDS of enterostomy patients was(147.94 + 37.45)scores,and the items were(6.72 + 1.70)points,and compared to similar research at a lower level;2.Single factor analysis showed that age, education level, occupation, residence, family income per month, marital status, medical insurance and so onhad influence on the discharge readiness of patients with enterostomy;3.Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the occupation, medical care, stoma complications, marital status, family income per month and the nursing service satisfaction are the main factors affecting the readiness for hospital discharge in patients with enterostomy.,together accounted for 37.2% of the total variance for the total score of RHDS;4.Through interviews with the enterostomy department nurses, four major themes were extracted.Theme 1: nurses did not pay enough attention to the discharge preparation for patients with enterostomy;Theme 2: lack of health guidance in discharge;Theme 3: psychological nursing;Theme 4: lack of personalized discharge nursing services.Conclusions:1.The degree of discharge preparation for patients undergoing enterostomy is at a low level;the main influencing factors are self factors such as income, family support, discharge nursing services and stoma complications.2.Nurses in enterostomy department did not pay enough attention to discharge preparation for patients, which resulted in incomplete health guidance, psychological nursing and personalized discharge nursing services.
