The Study On The Correlation Between Cough Induced By Sufentanil And Postoperative Nausea And Vomiting In Women

Objective: To observe the female patients for signs of coughing after intravenous injection of sufentanil,patients would be divided into two groups.If cough reaction occurs after sufentanil,the patients would be included in the cough group.And those patients without cough reaction would be included in the non-cough group.By comparing the incidence and severity of postoperative nausea and vomiting between the cough group and the non-cough group,the correlation between the cough induced by sufentanil and postoperative nausea and vomiting(PONV)in women was studied.Methods: A total of 230 female patients who undergoing selective laparoscopic cholecystectomy(ASA?~?)in Shaoyang Central Hospital were initially enrolled and randomly numbered.They were divided into the the cough group and the non-cough group according to whether the cough reaction occurred after the intravenous injection of sufentanil during anesthesia induction.All patients were given intravenous anesthesia,and were recorded for nausea and vomiting within two hours after surgery,and scored according to The WHO Nausea And Vomiting Scoring Standards.If the patient needed to use analgesics or the patient required to use analgesic pump within two hours after surgery due to pain,the patient was removed from the experimental group.Results:1.There was a statistically significant difference in the incidence of nausea and vomiting two hours after surgery between the two groups(P< 0.05).2.There was no statistically significant difference in the degree of postoperative nausea and vomiting between the two groups in two hours after surgery(P> 0.05).Conclusions:1.The cough induced by sufentanil is a risk factor for nausea and vomiting after laparoscopic cholecystectomy in women.2.The cough induced by sufentanil has no correlation with the severity of nausea and vomiting after laparoscopic cholecystectomy in women.
