| Objective: To investigate the prophylactic effect of Tropisetron on postoperative vomitting afterlaparoscopic cholecystectomy.Methods: One hundred and fifty patients were divided into5groups randomly, respectively treated withsaline5ml(A group); Tropisetron2mg10minutes before anesthesia induction(B group); Tropisetron2mg+dexamethasone10mg ten minutes before anesthesia induction(C group); Tropisetron5mg10minutesbefore anesthesia induction(Dgroup), Tropisetron2mg(after LC)(E group).Make a different record aboutthe degree of PONV on patients after operation24h.Results:The difference in patients’age,sex,weight,fentanyl doses,propofol dose,anesthesia time,Pneumop-eritoneum time,infusion volume and underlying diseases was of no statistical significance in five groups(P＞0.05). The incidence of PONV on the other4groups decrease obviously within24hs comparing withgroupA, the Group C, Group D and Group E(P＜0.01),and The Group B (P＜0.05). The same dose ofdifferent dosing time:The incidence of PONV of group B and Group E showed no significant difference(P＞0.05). The different dose of same Dosing time: the incidence of PONV of group D is lower than groupB(P＜0.05).Tropisetron2mg+dexamethasone10mg compared with Tropisetron2mg:the incidence ofPONV of group C is lower than group B(P＜0.05). Tropisetron2mg+dexamethasone10mg compared withTropisetron5mg:there was of no statistical significance in groupsC and groupsD (P＞0.05). Extrapyrami-dal symptoms was not reported in any of group. Scores of experimental groups were all higher than thecontrol group, and Bgroup,Cgroup,Dgroup,E group had significant differences with group A(P＜0.05).andthere was of no statistical significance in other four group(P＞0.05).Conclusion: Intravenous administration of tropisetron either before induction of anesthesia or at theend of surgery is significantly superior to placebo for PONV prophylaxis afer laparoscopic cholecystectom-y.tropisetron5mg was chosen as the safe,effective and appropriate dose. |
