PurposeThrough observing the changes of fatigue scores of breast cancer chemotherapy patients moxibustion with ginger, this paper explores the therapeutic effect of ginger moxibustion on the fatigue of breast cancer chemotherapy patients, and provides a safe and effective intervention for the treatment of cancer-induced chemotherapy in breast cancer chemotherapy patients. And provide reference for the promotion and application of ginger moxibustion in clinical practice.Patients and MethodA randomized, prospective study design was used to select 60 hospitalized patients diagnosed with breast cancer who developed cancer-relatedd fatigue after breast cancer adjuvant chemotherapy. They were randomly divided into two different groups according to the ratio of 1:1.There were 30 cases in the control group and the experimental group, and 56 cases in the whole study,28 cases in the experimental group and 28 cases in the control group. The anthracycline chemotherapy regimen was applied to both groups. The control group received a routine chemotherapy regimen, including psychological care, dietary guidance, gastrointestinal response care, cardiotoxicity care, and deep vein catheterization. The experimental group was given a moxibustion with ginger treatment with routine care. The acupoints of the abdomen were selected for moxibustion, including Shenque,Zhongyu,Qihai,Guanyuan and Tianshu. The experimental group intervened once a week for 1 hour each time, and 3 consecutive treatments was a course of treatment. The study involved a total of 2 treatment courses.Using a Brief fatigue scale and a Karnofsky score as observation indicators,a database was established, and statistical software was used to analyze the data to compare the degree of fatigue before and after treatment and the change in the Karnofsky score.Results1.Brief Fatigue Scale(BFI-C)score:Intra-group comparison:the comprehensive fatigue score and comprehensive fatigue impact score of each time point in the second course of treatment in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the same period of the first course of treatment(p<0.01).Inter-group comparison:in the first course of treatment,on the 14th day after chemotherapy, the comprehensive fatigue degree(6.070.94)score and fatigue impact score(5.53 0.56)of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group(6.70 0.88,7.58 0.59)(p<0.05);In the second course of treatment, the comprehensive fatigue score and fatigue impact score of the experimental group at each time point were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.01).Repeated measurement and analysis results show that the time-point effect has significant significance, which indicates that each variable has obvious time trend changing with time-point migration. This study has four observation time points and two treatment courses before chemotherapy, the first day,the seventh day and the fourteenth day of chemotherapy. In terms of comprehensive fatigue degree, the f values of the first course and the second course of treatment in the experimental group were 19.451 and 69.814 respectively, and the p values were all less than 0.01,indicating that the main effect of comprehensive fatigue score in time was statistically significant(P<0.01),i.e.excluding the influence of different intervention factors, the comprehensive fatigue score of patients in the experimental group changed with the change of observation time point. In terms of comprehensive fatigue impact score, the f values of the first course and the second course of treatment in the experimental group are 263.230 and 628.385 respectively, and the p values are all less than 0.01,indicating that the main effect of comprehensive fatigue impact score in time has significant statistical significance(P<0.01),i.e.excluding the influence of different intervention factors, the comprehensive fatigue impact score of patients in the experimental group changes with the change of observation time point. From the above results,it can be seen that the comprehensive fatigue score and fatigue impact score have obvious time change trend in the first and second courses of treatment, and the one-way ANOVA of repeated measurement analysis also indicates that the point effect has significant statistical significance(p<0.01)2.Karnofsky score:The KPS scores of the two groups were significantly changed before and after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After two courses of treatment,KPS score(87.143?7.127)in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(65.714?6.341),with significant difference(P<0.01)ConclusionsMoxibustion with ginger can significantly alleviate the effects of fatigue symptoms and fatigue on breast cancer chemotherapy patients, and this treatment is safe, simple, and effective, and is suitable for clinical implementation.
