Distribution Characteristics Of Three-Yin And Three-Yang Constitution In Early-onset Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus And Its Correlation With Insul In Resistance And Islet ?-cell Function

Objective:To investigate the distribution of body constitution in patients with early-onset type 2 diabetes by investigating the physique of Three-Yin and Three-Yang in patients with early-onset type 2 diabetes mellitus,and to explore the relationship between each constitution type of early-onset type 2 diabetes mellitus and insulin resistance and islet ?-cell function,in order to provide theoretical guidance for TCM constitutional theory for the prevention and treatment of early-onset type 2 diabetes.Methods:Guided by Professor Zhao Jinxi' s theory of Three-Yin and Three-Yang Constitution,120 cases of early-onset type 2 diabetes in the inpatient department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were adopted by Dr.Gong Qing's 2012 Three-Yin and Three-Yang Physical Fitness Survey Initial Scale.Patients were surveyed and collected general information(name,gender,age,height,weight,body mass index,family history)and experimental indicators during hospitalization(fasting blood glucose,fasting insulin,fasting C-peptide,glycated hemoglobin,blood lipids).The insulin resistance index,islet?-cell function index and insulin sensitivity index were calculated.The data were analyzed by SPSS23.0 statistical software and the conclusion was drawn.The difference was statistically significant at P<0.05.Results:1.The distribution of Three-Yin and Three-Yang constitution in patients with early-onset type 2 diabetes was as follows:35 cases of Taiyin constitution,accounting for 29.2%;27 cases of Jueyin,accounting for 22.5%;25 cases of Yangming constitution,accounting for 20.8%;18 cases of Shaoyin constitution,accounting for 15%;9 cases of Taiyang constitution,accounting for 7.5%;6 cases of Shaoyang constitution,accounting for 5%.77 cases of early-onset type 2 diabetes patients were genital,accounting for 64.2%;43 cases of physique were positive,accounting for 35.8%;89 cases were physique,accounting for 74.2%;31 cases were true,accounting for 25.8%.2.There was no statistical difference in family history between various constitution types,P>0.05.The positive rate of family history in patients with early-onset type 2 diabetes was generally higher,accounting for 65.8%.3.The difference in body mass index between the various constitution types was not statistically significant,P>0.05.However,the average body mass index of the Jueyin constitution was the highest,and the average body mass index of the Taiyang constitution was the lowest.4.Among the type of early-onset type 2 diabetes patients,FINS and HOMA-IR of the Taiyin constitution were higher than other physical constitutions,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant;HOMA-? and TG of the Yangming constitution was higher than other constitutional levels.Compared with other constitution types,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ISI of the Shaoyin constitution was higher than other physique levels,and the difference was statistically significant compared with other physique types,P<0.05;HOMA-? of the Taiyang constitution was lower than other ' s.The difference was statistically significant compared with other physique types,P<0.05.5.The OR values of HOMA-IR and HOMA-? about various constitution types of EOD were less than 1,and P<0.05,indicating HOMA-IR and HOMA-? were negatively correlated with Taiyin constitution,Shaoyin constitution,Jueyin constitution,Shaoyang constitution and Taiyang constitution;the OR value of ISI of Shaoyang and Taiyang constitution is greater than 1,and P<0.05,indicating ISI was positive correlation with Shaoyang and Taiyang constitution.The OR values of ISI of Taiyin constitution,Shaoyin constitution and Jueyin constitution were all less than 1,and P<0.05,indicating that ISI was negatively correlated with Taiyin constitution,Shaoyin constitution and Jueyin constitution.Conclusion:The distribution of Three-Yin and Three-Yang constitutions in patients with EOD was sequenced from high to low in terms of frequency as follows:Taiyin constitution,Jueyin constitution,Yangming constitution,Shaoyin constitution,Taiyang constitution,and Shaoyang constitution.Among them,Taiyin constitution,Jueyin and Yangming constitution were the main types of constitutions.In the classification of Yin and Yang properties of constitution,the Yin constitution type was the main type.In the classification of virtual and real attributes,the virtual constitution type was dominant.It can be seen that Taiyin constitution and Jueyin constitution and Yangming constitution are susceptible to type 2 diabetes mellitus,and insulin resistance of the patients with EOD are more obvious in the patients with Taiyin constitution,and the islet beta cell function damage is more serious and the prognosis is worse in the patients with Taiyang constitution.
