Clinical Observation On Prevention Of Male Androgenetic Alopecia(Deficiency Syndrome Of Liver And Kidney)by FangTuoFa Herbal Paste

ObjectivePreliminary observation on the clinical efficacy of FangTuoFa Herbal Paste in the treatment of male androgenetic alopecia(deficiency syndrome of liver and kidney).MethodsThis study is a Prospective randomized controlled trial.A total of 88 cases were included.All of them were randomly divided into three group.One group was given FangTuoFa Herbal paste treatment.Another group was given Finasteride and the last group was given FangTuoFa Herbal paste combined with Finasteride.The total observation time was 6 months.The greasy scores,desquamation scores,pruritus scores,hair loss scores and the number of hair in the target area by using Handheld dermatoscopy,dermatology life quality index(DLQI)of the three control groups were recorded At the oth week and the 24th week.Statistical analysis was performed on the collected data using statistical software SPSS 25.0 and Microsoft Exce12016.ResultsIn terms of the number of hair in the target area,there is a statistical difference in the difference of before and after treatment(F=68.82,/P=0.000).Then use LSD method for pairwise comparison.There is a statistical difference between the finasteride group and the combination treatment group,and the combination treatment group is superior to thefinasteride group(mean difference=-6.245,P=0.000).There is a statistical difference between the finasteride group and the FangTuoFa Herbal paste group,and the finasteride group is superior to FangTuoFa Herbal paste group(mean difference=7.385,P=0.000).In terms of total scores based on hair loss,greasy,desquamation,and itching,there is a statistical difference in the difference of before and after treatment(F=13.138,P=0.00),Then use LSD method for pairwise comparison.There is a statistical difference between the finasteride group and the combination treatment group,and the combination treatment group is superior to the finasteride group(mean difference=-2.49,P=0.033).There is a statistical difference between the finasteride group and the FangTuoFa Herbal paste group,and the finasteride group is superior to FangTuoFa Herbal paste group(mean difference=2.485,P=0.000,).On the terms of effective rate,the finasteride group was 85.2%,the combination treatment group was 93.5%,and the FangTuoFa Herbal paste group was 73.3%.From efficacy distribution and efficiency we can see that the combination group is better than the finasteride group,and the finasteride group is superior to the FangTuoFa Herbal paste group.The three groups of dermatology life quality index(DLQI)scores were not statistically different at the oth week and the 24th week.ConclusionsThe study has shown that FangTuoFa Herbal paste can improve the clinical symptoms of patients and promote hair growth,and the curative effect is considerable.FangTuoFa Herbal paste combined with finasteride is more effective in the treatment of AGA.
