The Experience Of Guo Junjie In The Treatment Of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis With Hypothyroidism And Patterns Of Chinese Herbs

Objective:To analyse comprehensively the Chinese herbs used by Guo Junjie in the treatment of Hashimoto's thyroiditis with hypothyroidism through learning in the outpatient combining with “Chinese Medicine inheritance Assistance system”,So we can provide a new train of thought for clinic.Methods:1.Largely collect the cases of Hashimoto's thyroiditis with hypothyroidism in the outpatient and inpatient department,the repeated sorting out,analyzing ang sifting has brought the number of effective cases to the 102.2.102 effective cases of Hashimoto's thyroiditis with hypothyroidism were input into the “Chinese Medicine inheritance Assistance system”,then we can analyse the pattern of syndrome,the frequencies,four properties and five taste of Chinese herb,as well as relevance between them.Results:1.Professor Guo upholds that “five zang is one whole”,the pathogenesis of this disease is mixed by deficiency and excess,the nature is liver's dysfunction,the pathogenic factor is phlegm and blood-stasis,the heart,lung,spleen and kidney will be affected gradually,so“harmonization method”and“strengthening the body resistance to eliminate pathogenic factors”should be used.2.Professor Guo thinks that Hashimoto's thyroiditis with hypothyroidism can be devided into four patterns of syndrome,which is hepatosplenic disorder,phlegm and static blood binding together,deficiency of both vital energy and yin and asdthenic splenonephro-yang.They can be treated respectively by Xiaoyao San,Jiuweisanjie Tang,Shengmai San or Zini Fang,Jinkuishenqi Wan.3.The top eight of Chinese herbs which are used by 50 times and their usually dose is:moutan bark(12g,15 g,20g),radices paeoniae alba(15g,20g),radix scrophulariae(15g,20g),chrysanthemum(12g,15 g,20g),white atractylodes rhizome(15g,20 g,30g),fructus ligustri lucidi(20g,30g),dried tangerine(12g),radix curcumae(12g,20g).And Professor Guo emphasizes the combination of Chinese herbs,such as radices paeoniae alba and white atractylodes rhizome,moutan bark and radix curcumae,Fritillaria thunbergii Miq and selfheal,and so on.4.The four properties ranking from high to low in order is:cold(46.88%),warm(29.29%),cool(14.3%),ping(9.53%);the five taste ranking from high to low in order is:bitter(39.27%),sweet(27.4%),hot(19.52%),sour(6.16%),salty(5.67%),astringency(1.98%).5.The top six of channel tropism is:liver,kidney,lung,spleen,heart,stomach.6.Basing on cluster analysis,there are 12 group core combination,and 12 new prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine.Conclusion:Professor Guo Junjie devotes himself to the clinical study of Hashimoto's thyroiditis with hypothyroidism for more than 30 years.Professor Guo has his own view,he thinks the pathogenesis of this disease is mixed by deficiency and excess,the nature is liver's dysfunction,the pathogenic factor is phlegm and blood-stasis,the therapeutic rules are“harmonization method”and“strengthening the body resistance to eliminate pathogenic factors”.we can provide a new train of thought for clinic by analyzing Professor Guo's patterns of Chinese herbs.
