Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Pharyngeal Cough By Shuyan Zhike Decoction

Objective: Through the changes of cough symptom scores,visual analogue scores and TCM syndrome scores in 37 patients with pharyngeal cough after taking Shuyan Zhike Decoction,we learn the effects of the prescription on clinical symptoms relief and adverse reactions,etc.And evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Shuyan Zhike Decoction,provides new treatment ideas for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods: During the follow-up period from December 2017 to February 2019,43 patients with pharyngeal cough diagnosis and inclusion criteria were selected,they were treated with Shuyan Zhike Decoction.The course of treatment was about 2 weeks,after 2 weeks,we evaluate the changes of efficacy,cough symptom scores,visual analogue scores,TCM syndrome scores,and safety indicators,and record the process of adverse reactions.Results: In this study,43 patients were included,6 patients were shedding,37 patients were finally counted.The statistical results display:(1)Overall efficacy: Shuyan Zhike Decoction has significant effects in treating pharyngeal cough,including 2 cases of recovery,10 cases of marked improvement,19 cases of improvement,6 cases of ineffectiveness,the total effective rate is 83.79%;(2)Cough symptom score Aspect: After treatment,the patient's cough symptom score improved,P<0.001;(3)Cough visual analogue scale: The post-treatment score improved after treatment,P<0.001;(4)TCM syndrome scores: TCM syndrome score improved after treatment,P<0.05;(5)Safety and side reaction statistics: Before and after treatment,the patients had no obvious abnormalities in vital signs such as body temperature,pulse,respiratory frequency and blood pressure,and no obvious adverse reactions occurred.Conclusion: It is suggested that Shuyan Zhike Decoction has obvious curative effect on pharyngeal cough.It can not only improve the symptoms,but also has no obvious adverse reactions,which suggests that Shuyan Zhike Decoction is safe and worth promoting.
