The Clinical Observation Of Spasm After Stroke In Patients Treated By Acupoint Massage Combined With The Tone Of Jue

Objective:To explore the effects of acupoint massage combined with the tone of jue on muscle tension,pain,and activities of daily living in patients with post-stroke muscle spasm;to promote the clinical application and popularization of the traditional Chinese music therapy and acupoint massage.Methods:120 patients with post-stroke muscle spasm that meet the criteria randomly divided into acupoint massage combined with the tone of jue group,acupoint massage combined with western light music group and acupoint massage group,with 40 cases in each group.All the three groups of patients were given routine care.The acupoint massage group selecting acupoint including Jiquan,Chize,Neiguan,Jianyu,Hegu,Shousanli on the upper limps and Shuxi,Yinlingquan,Sanyinjiao,Xuanzhong,Jiexi,Zusanli on the Lower Limbs were all massaged on the affected side.Each point was pressed for 2-3 minutes once a day for a total of 4 weeks.Acupoint massage combined with Western light music group and acupoint combined with the tone of jue to give acupressure while listening to music,each time 30 min,once a day for a total of 4 weeks.The modified Ashworth scale(MAS),modified Barthel index(MBI)and visual analogue scale(VAS)were used to compare the muscle tension,pain level,and activities of daily living before and after intervention in the three groups of patients.According to the objective values,using software SPSS 13.0 statistically analyzed the difference in efficacy between groups before and after intervention and the difference in efficacy between the three groups.Results:1.There was no significant difference in general data such as gender,lesion nature,age,and disease course among the three groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the three groups of subjects before the intervention in the modified Ashworth scale rating,modified Barthel index,and visual analog scale scores(P>0.05),so the three groups were comparable.2.Comparison between groups after intervention: There were statisticallysignificant differences between the three groups in the modified Ashworth scale rating,modified Barthel index and visual analog scale scores(P<0.05).It shows that the three groups of interventions have different effects on post-stroke muscle spasm.Among them,the joint group was better than the acupoint massage group in improving the degree of spasticity,pain relief,and daily living activity.Acupressure massage combined with the tone of jue was more effective.3.Within-group comparisons before and after intervention: There were significant differences between the modified Ashworth scale ratings,modified Barthel index,and visual analogue scale scores between the three groups before and after intervention(P<0.05).After the intervention of the three groups,there was an improvement compared with that before the intervention.Conclusion:Acupoint massage,acupoint massage combined with Western light music and acupoint massage combined with the tone of jue can improve the degree of muscle spasm after stroke,reduce the pain of patients and improve the activities of daily living activities.And the combined effect is better than a single effect,the tone of jue is better than the western light music.
