A Study On The Effect Of Acupoint Massage Combined With Internal Effect Stickers On Patients With Dysphagia After Stroke

Objective: To observe the clinical effects of acupoint massage combined with Kinesio tape on patients with dysphagia after stroke,so as to provide some clinical evidence for exploring effective methods of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of post-stroke dysphagia.Methods: 62 patients with dysphagia after stroke were randomly divided into observation group(32 cases)and control group(30 cases).The control group received conventional neuromuscular electrical stimulation,swallowing basic training and acupoint massage for head,neck and face,and comfort tape.The observation group received conventional neuromuscular electrical stimulation,swallowing basic training and acupoint massage for head,neck and face,and Kinesio tape.Both treatments in the two groups last for 28 days.Before and after treatment,the swallowing function was compared by Fujishima Ichiro scale for dysphagia and the sub-water test.At the same time,the nutritional status was evaluated by body mass index(BMI),triceps skin fold thickness(TSF),upper arm muscle circumference(AMC)and biochemical indexes such as serum albumin(ALB)and hemoglobin(Hb),and the pulmonary condition was evaluated by the incidence of aspiration pneumonia.Results:1.After 24 days of treatment,the improvement of dysphagia in patients in the two groups was compared.The total effective rate was 90.63% in the observation group and 76.67% in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Before the treatment,there was no significant difference in the scores of Fujishima Ichiro scale for dysphagia and the sub-water test between the two groups(P>0.05),and the two groups have comparability.After treatment,the scores of Fujishima Ichiro scale for dysphagia and sub-water test in both groups were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.01).Compared with the control group,the scores of Fujishima Ichiro scale for dysphagia and sub-water test in the observation group increased obviously(P< 0.05).3.Before the treatment,there was no significant difference in height,weight and body mass index(BMI)between the patients in two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,both the body weight and body mass index(BMI)of patients in the two groups increased significantly(P<0.01).After treatment,there was no significant difference in body weight between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05);the body mass index(BMI)of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P< 0.05).4.Before the treatment,there was no significant difference in TSF and AMC between patients in the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,there was no significant difference in TSF and AMC between the two groups compared with those before the treatment(P> 0.05).5.Before the treatment,there was no significant difference in ALB and Hb of patients between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the ALB and Hb of patients in the two groups were significantly higher than those before the treatment(P<0.05).6.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the number of aspiration pneumonia cases between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability.After treatment,there was no difference in the number of patients with aspiration pneumonia between the two groups compared with those before the treatment P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).Conclusion: Acupoint massage combined with Kinesio can significantly improve the situation of dysphagia and nutritional status of patients with dysphagia after stroke,and is superior to the acupoint massage combined with conventional treatment.
