Objective: To investigate the sleep quality of patients with severe mental illness, analyze the related factors affecting sleep quality of patients with severe mental illness, and evaluate the effect of cardiopulmonary coupling analysis(CPC)in sleep quality assessment and the difference between subjective and objective sleep..Methods:The first part: 105 male patients with severe mental illness admitted to a psychiatric hospital in Anhui Province from April 2017 to November 2018 were selected as the research objects. The research tools included general situation questionnaire,Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale,General Assessment Scale(GAS)and cardiopulmonary coupling analysis(CPC)monitoring instrument.Sleep quality of patients with severe mental illness, the correlation between factors of each scale and sleep quality of patients with severe mental illness, and the difference analysis of sleep quality between different diseases. The second part: From July 2018 to November 2018,the subjective sleep quality of patients was measured. The experiment used general situation questionnaire,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),cardiopulmonary coupling analysis(CPC)instrument and SPASS 20.0 to analyze the data and explore the difference between subjective and objective sleep of patients with severe mental illness. Results:The first part:(1)The abnormal rate of total sleep time in patients with severe psychosis is 40%,the abnormal rate of mature sleep is 60%,the abnormal rate of shallow sleep is 81%,the abnormal rate of REM sleep is 71%,the abnormal rate of waking time is 95%,the abnormal rate of first falling asleep is 90%,and the abnormal rate of sleep efficiency is 85%.There is a statistical difference between the total sleep time and the sleep efficiency of patients with or without physical diseases and with different educational levels.Significance(P < 0.05).The age of patients was significantly negatively correlated with the total sleep time, and the duration of illness was negatively correlated with the initial sleep time.(2)The degree of illness was positively correlated with the initial sleep time, anxiety was positively correlated with the deep sleep time, and negatively correlated with the awakening time and the temporary respiratory index.(3)The sleeping time and sleep efficiency of patients in clozapine treatment group were higher than those in risperidone group. The shallow sleep time, awakening time, first sleep time and apnea index in the treatment group were lower than those in the risperidone treatment group. The sleeping time and sleep efficiency in the clozapine treatment group were higher than those in the quetiapine treatment group, and the awakening time was lower than that in the quetiapine group(P < 0.05).(4)The deep sleep time of schizophrenic patients was higher than that of bipolar affective disorder patients, while the light sleep and REM sleep were lower than those of bipolar affective disorder patients, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).The second part: The comparison of subjective and objective sleep status in patients with schizophrenia showed that the subjective total sleep time was higher than the objective total sleep time(P<0.01),and the subjective sleep time was higher than the objective sleep time(P<0.01).Bipolar disorder patients objective sleep time is always subjective sleep long(P < 0.01),the objective subjective sleep sleep time is shorter(P < 0.01),bipolar disorder scored lower on subjective sleep time, sleep disorders in patients with schizophrenia, the hypnotic drug scores higher than that of patients with schizophrenia and patients with subjective perception about their sleep better in patients with anxiety, hostility factor score(P < 0.05)smaller.Conclusions:The rate of abnormal sleep in male patients with severe psychosis is high. The quality of sleep of male patients with severe psychosis is affected by age, duration of illness, physical diseases and diseases.Anxiety can change the sleep structure of schizophrenic patients, and the proportion of sleeping time increases, and the waking time increases. There are differences between subjective and objective sleep in male patients with severe psychosis, and patients tend to overstate their sleep duration. The increase of anxiety, hostility and other negative emotions will lead to the increase of patients' false perception of their sleep quality..
