Objective:To analyze the physical distribution characteristics of patients with non-acute attack stage of asthma, and to observe the effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine health management on asthma control and quality of life.Methods:164 patients from 2017.01.01 to 2018.11.30 were selected to fill in the questionnaire of Classification and Judgment of Constitution of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).The distribution of gender and constitution of patients was counted.Sixty-four patients were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the treatment plan at the same time. The control group was given routine management of Western medicine,including:(1)selecting treatment plan on the basis of the severity classification of asthma according to GINA guidelines.(2)Health education of asthma-related knowledge and confidence in the treatment of asthma were given to patients.(3)Teach patients to use peak expiratory velocimeter and do self-monitoring.The observation group received the same plan as control group, and was also administered with traditional Chinese medicine management,including:(1)guiding diet, activities according to the patients’ body constitution.(2)Take Chinese herbs.(3)To teach"The Six-charactered Formula".(4)Distribution of health-preserving Knowledge Manual of Chinese medicine for asthma and health education.(5)Send the knowledge of TCM education through the network platform. The management time was 6 months.ACT,asthma self-management test and asthma syndrome integral scale were filled in both groups before and after observation, and PEF was monitored for one week.Result:1.Patients at clinics with non-acute attack of asthma were more female than male, and the majority of patients were 40-60 years old.The distribution of biased constitution is mainly composed of double biased constitution, followed by placid constitution and single biased constitution. The most common types of biased constitution are irritability constitution and Qi deficiency constitution, followed by Yang deficiency constitution and phlegm-dampness constitution, and the other constitutions appear less frequently.2.The ACT scores before and after asthma management were compared. The ACT scores of the two groups after management were higher than before(P<0.05).There was statistical significance. The scores of the observation group after management were higher than those of the control group.3.PEF%of the control groups after management was higher than before(P<0.05),with statistical significance, but there was no significant difference in PEF%before and after management in the observation group. And there was no significant difference between the two groups.4.After management, the total scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were improved compared with those before management, and the observation group was better than the control group(p>0.05).The scores of expectoration, wheezing and chest tightness after the management were lower than those before the in the observation group(p<0.05),the scores of cough were lower than before the in the observation group(p>0.05).There was no significant difference in single integral before and after management in the control group.5.The self-management ability of patients in the two groups was also improved before and after management. The awareness of avoiding inducing factors, symptoms identification, condition monitoring, medication compliance and regular visits was significantly improved(P<0.05),and the comparison group was better than the control group. Conclusion:Adding the management of asthma based on traditional Chinese medicine constitution on routine management of Western medicine can partly alleviate patients’ daily symptoms, improve asthma control level, and significantly improve patients’ disease self-management ability.
