Objective:To discuss the effect of CRIF with cannulated screw and ORIF in the treatment of Sanders type II and III calcaneal fractures. Methods:We randomly selected 50 patients with Sanders type II and III calcaneal fractures treated in our hospital from July 2016 to August 2018.The patients were randomly divided into two groups,A and B.Group A was treated with CRIF with cannulated screw and Group B was treated with ORIF.We followed up the patients at least 6 months after treatment. The indicators of the two groups, including intraoperative bleeding volume, postoperative drainage volume, operation time, hospitalization time, fracture healing time,Bohler angle,Gissane angle, calcaneal height, calcaneal width,VAS,AOFAS and incidence of complications, were analyzed and compared.Result:The intraoperative bleeding volume and postoperative drainage volume in group A were significantly less than those in group B(P < 0.05);the hospitalization time and operation time of patients in group A were significantly shorter than those in group B(P < 0.05);the VAS of patients in group A was lower than that in group B(P < 0.05);the incidence of complications in group A was lower than that in group B(P < 0.05).The differences between groups were statistically significant. There were no significant differences in fracture healing time,Bohler angle,Gissane angle, calcaneal height, calcaneal width and AOFAS between group A and group B(P > 0.05).Conclusion:CRIF with cannulated screw and ORIF both have reliable clinical effect in the treatment of Sanders type II and III calcaneal fractures.CRIF with cannulated screw can effectively reduce surgical trauma, intraoperative bleeding volume and postoperative drainage volume, postoperative pain and incidence of complications and shorten hospitalization time and operation time.So we believe it has certain advantages over ORIF.
