Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Yajia recipe in treating the subacute thyroiditis with fire stagnation and phlegm obstruction syndrome. Methods: In this study,50 subacute thyroiditis patients who met the inclusion criteria were selected from the endocrinology clinic of our hospital and randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, with 25 cases in each group.Excluding exfoliation cases(1 case in the treatment group and 2 cases in the control group),47 cases were actually completed, including 24 cases in the treatment group and 23 cases in the control group. The treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine Yajia recipe, while the control group was treated with prednisone tablets, with a total course of treatment of 6 weeks. The changes of clinical symptoms,FT3,FT4,TSH,CRP,ESR and other indicators and adverse reactions before and after treatment in the two groups were observed, and the clinical efficacy and safety were evaluated.Results:1.general comparison: there is no statistical difference in age,sex and course of disease between the two groups(P>0.05),which is comparable.2.comparison of curative effects of traditional Chinese medicine: the total effective rate of the treatment group is 95.83%,and that of the control group is 73.91%,and the treatment group is obviously superior to the control group(P<0.05).3.comparison of TCM syndrome points: the TCM syndrome points of the two groups decreased before and after treatment(P<0.05),but thecomparison between the treatment group and the control group after treatment was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Among the single symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine, fever, pharyngalgia, palpitation, tremor, headache, dysphoria, fatigue and emaciation have the same curative effect between the two groups(P> 0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group in improving symptoms of goiter, thyroid pain and hyperhidrosis(P<0.05).4.CRP and ESR comparison: CRP and ESR decreased before and after treatment in both groups(P< 0.05);After treatment, the improvement of ESR and CRP indexes in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).5.comparison of thyroid function: FT3,FT4 and TSH indexes of the two groups were improved before and after treatment(P < 0.05);After treatment, the improvement of FT4 and TSH indexes in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in FT3 indexes between the two groups(P>0.05).6.safety comparison: there were no adverse reactions in the treatment group,3 cases of gastrointestinal symptoms,1 case of abnormal liver function and 1 case of elevated blood pressure in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Sub-Party A has a significant effect on the treatment of fire depression and phlegm retention syndrome of subacute thyroiditis, which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, thyroid function and related biochemical indexes of patients, and is safe and free from adverse reactions.
