Part ? Risk factors for endometrial polyps in infertility patientsObjective: To explore the influencing factors of endometrial polyps in the patients with infertility. Methods: Clinical data of 359 infertile patients were analyzed retrospectively.According to the hysteroscopy and postoperative pathological results,84 cases were diagnosed as endometrial polyps(polyps group)and 275 cases as non-endometrial polyps(non-polyps group). The relevant clinical data were compared between the two groups, and logistic regression model was used for multivariate analysis. Results: Compared to the non-polyps group, the proportion of hydrosalpinx was lower, the proportion of endometriosis was higher, and the menstrual cycle was shorter in the polyps group(all P < 0.05).Multiple-factor analysis showed endometriosis was an independent risk factor for endometrial polyps in the patients with infertility(P <0.05).Conclusion: The risk of endometrial polyps is higher in the infertilepatients complicated with endometriosis.Part ? Immunohistochemical expression of endometrial polyps in infertile women Objective: To compare the expression of ERa,Bcl-2 and NF-?B P65 in endometriosis related endometrial polyps and non-endometriosis related endometrial polyps. Methods: 32 Endometrial polyps from infertile patients with endometriosis were selected as the experimental group and 40 cases in total from non-endometriosis infertile patients as the control group. The expressions of ERa,Bcl-2 and NF-kappa B P65 were detected by immunohistochemistry. Results: 1.ERa,Bcl-2 and NF-?B P65 were expressed in all cases and each of them was detected in the same part of cells between the study group and the control group.ER? was expressed in nuclei of glandular epithelial cells and stromal cells.Bcl-2 was mainly expressed in the cytoplasm of glandular epithelial cells and NF-?B P65 was expressed in the cytoplasm of glandular epithelial cells and stromal cells.2.The expression of ER? in endometriosis related endometrial polyps was significantly higher than that in the control group,(t=-2.136,p=0.037;t=-2.289,p=0.027).The expression of Bcl-2 in endometriosis related endometrial polyps was significantly higher than that in non-endometriosis endometrial polyps(t=-2.055,p=0.045).3.The expression of ER? in glandular cells and stromal cells of endometrial polyps was positively correlated with Bcl-2.(r = 0.289,p= 0.014;r = 0.260,p= 0.027).Conclusion: The expression of ER? in glandular cells and stromal cells are positively correlated with Bcl-2 in endometrial polyps.ER? and Bcl-2 in endometriosis related endometrial polyps is significantly higher expression than that in non-endometriosis related endometrial polyps. The findings suggest a potential role of altered expression of ER?and Bcl-2 in endometriosis related endometrial polyps.
