The Clinical Study Of Fuzheng Huatan Ointment In The Treatment Of Repeated Respiratory Tract Infection(Lung-Qi Deficiency Syndrome)in Children

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Fuzheng Huatan Ointment in the treatment of the recurrent respiratory tract infections with children,this article explores the efficacy and safety of Fuzheng Huatan Ointment in the treatment of recurrent respiratory tract infections(lung-spleen deficiency syndrome),so as to provide a basis for the clinical application of Fuzheng Huatan Ointment in the treatment of such children.Methods Sixty-six children who met the standards in Pediatric Clinic of my Hospital in 2017 and 2018 were selected,Among them,30 were selected in 2017 and 36 in 2018.They took Fuzheng Huatan Ointment orally from the beginning of winter for a course of treatment(60days).Before treatment,they carefully filled in the registration form,recorded the scores of TCM syndromes,returned visits after treatment,recorded the scores of TCM syndromes,and evaluated the efficacy of TCM syndromes.Then,respectively 3 months and 1 year after treatment,Outpatient or telephone return visit,then analyzed and compared the incidence,course and types of recurrent respiratory tract infections before and after treatment.The efficacy of Fuzheng Huatan Ointment in treating recurrent respiratory tract infections(pulmonary-spleen-qi deficiency syndrome)was analyzed and the safety of drugs was evaluated.Results1.Therapeutic effect of TCM syndromes: Of the 66 cases,6 cases(9.09%)were cured,26 cases(39.39%)were markedly effective,32cases(48.48%)were effective,2 cases(3.03%)were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 96.97%.It shows that Fuzheng Huatan Ointment has better curative effect on children with RRTI in remission stage.2.Comparisons of TCM syndromes scores: TCM syndromes such as food deficiency,hyperhidrosis,shortness of breath,feces,fatigue and fatigue were significantly lower than before(P< 0.01);TCM syndromes in the face of Shaohua score was lower than before,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);TCM syndromes in the form of thin,less Qi lazy speech score was lower than before,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The scores of muscle relaxation in TCM syndromes did not decrease,and there was no significant difference.3.Before and after treatment,the incidence of respiratory tract infections in children decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment,the frequency of respiratory infection in 66 children was slightly lower than that before,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).4.The course of single infection in children after treatment was significantly shorter than that before treatment(P<0.05).After3 months of treatment,the grade of single onset of respiratory tract infection in 66 children was slightly lower than that before,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).5.After 1 year of treatment,the grade of respiratory infection was decreased in 30 children,and the difference was statistically significant.After 3 months of treatment,the grade of respiratory infection was decreased in 66 cases,and the difference was not statistically significant.6.Disease curative effect: Outcome of 30 children who were followed up for one year,3 cases(10.0%)were clinically cured,8 cases(26.67%)were markedly effective,16 cases(53.33%)were effective,3 cases(10%)were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 90%.7.Safety: No allergic reaction,abdominal pain,diarrhea,vomiting and other adverse reactions were found in 66 children after treatment.Conclusion During winter season,with taking Fuzheng Huatan Ointment to treat children with recurrent respiratory tract infections(pulmonary and spleen-qi deficiency syndrome),the curative effect of TCM syndromes is 96.97%,and the curative effect of disease is90%.It can obviously improve the symptoms of children with food deficiency,dullness,sweating,shortness of breath,loose stool,fatigue,lack of facial color,etc.It can not alleviate the symptoms of emaciation,lack of breath and laziness,and shorten the repeated respiratory tract infections obviously.The frequency and course of single onset reduced the severity of the disease,and no allergic reaction,abdominal pain,diarrhea,vomiting and other clinical adverse events occurred during the treatment.It shows that Fuzheng Huatan Ointment is effective and safe in treating children with recurrent respiratory tract infection(lung-spleen-qi deficiency syndrome).It is worth further study and clinical application.
