Observation On Clinical Therapeutic Effect Of Fire Acupuncture Combined With Herbal Penetration Therapy For The Treatment Of Herpes Zoster Of Fire And Poison Type

Objective : Through comparing the intervention of the fire acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine external treatment on patients with acute herpes zoster with the western medicine control group,manifests the clinical curative effect of the fire acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine external treatment on acute herpes zoster,to provide clinical basis for further extending the clinical using of the fire acupuncture and external application of Chinese medicine.Methods:60 patients with the acute herpes zoster in accordance with the diagnostic criteria was divided into 30 cases in the control group and 30 cases in the treatment group according to the random method.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine.The treatment group was treated with the the fire acupuncture and Chinese medicine external treatment.The treatment course of two groups was 10 days.During the test,scabbing time,complete recovery time of skin lesions,pain rating index(PRI),visual analogue scale(VAS),present pain intensity(PPI),the total poibts of SF-MPQ were recorded.Score and time were compared with t test,Chi square test for incidence of disease,using SPSS19.0statistical software for statistical analysis.Results:The total effectiveness of the treatment group was 100.0%,compared with86.7 percent in the control group,and the difference in the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).VAS,PPI,PRI and SF-MPQ scores of two groups before and after treatment all have different degrees of lower,P<0.05,and the difference had statistically significant.After the treatment course,VAS,PPI,PRI and SF-MPQ scores between two groups statistically significant(P<0.05),and the difference had statistically significant.The scabbing time,complete recovery time of skin lesions of both groups were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The difference in the incidence of postherpetic neuralgia of both groups were statistically significant(P< 0.05).The two groups did not show any significant adverse reactions during the treatment.Conclusion:This study strongly suggested that the fire acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine external treatment has curative effect of on the patients with acute herpes zoster,and is superior to conventional western medicine treatment,has adapplication prospect.
