Objective:The pain and dysfunction caused by knee osteoarthritis seriously affect the quality of life of patients and cause great problems for patients.Recently, shock waves were found in osteoarthritis through animal experiments and clinical studies at home and abroad. It has a significant effect, can relieve the symptoms of knee osteoarthritis and joint pain more quickly, help to improve the degree of joint motion, and has the effect of delaying the degenerative change of osteoarthritis. In this study, under the guidance of TCM theory, the clinical efficacy of shock wave acupuncture and moxibustion for treating knee osteoarthritis was studied. Methods : This clinical study followed the principle of parallel control and randomization and selected patients who came to Shanxi Provincial Hospital for pain clinics and osteoarthritis clinics and inpatient departments from May 2016 to December2017.All patients were eligible for Western medicine. The diagnostic criteria for knee osteoarthritis and the diagnostic criteria for osteophytes in TCM syndromes include a total of 72 patients and were randomly divided into treatment group(36 cases)and control group(36 cases). The treatment group was treated with shock wave acupuncture from the bladder, and the control group was treated with acupuncture. Both groups were treated twice a day and treated 7 times.Observe the effects of shock wave acupuncture and moxibustion treatment to improve knee pain, joint mobility, and function(such as stairs and creases).Observe and record the correlation scores of JOA and pain VAS score before and after treatment in the two groups of patients, and use JOA score as the main basis for judging the efficacy. The auxiliary index is VAS score for pain improvement rate, and monitor the possible adverse reactions.SPSS23.0 statistical software was used for data analysis and processing.Results:1.Comparison of the total clinical efficacy of the two groups:The total effective rate of the shock wave acupuncture group was 86.11%;the total effective rate of the simple acupuncture group was 72.22%;after the rank sum test, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that both groups of treatment had good clinical effects, shock wave Acupuncture is better than simple acupuncture for treatment from the bladder.2.Comparison of two groups of pain VAS scores:The pain improvement rate of VAS score in both groups was significantly improved in the treatment group(94.44%),and the pain improvement rate in the control group was86.11%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Shock wave acupuncture is superior to acupuncture in the treatment of bladder.3.Two sets of safety assessment standards:In terms of the evaluation of safety and efficacy, there were no obvious abnormal changes in the safety items of the two groups before and after the treatment, and there were no serious adverse events. Both treatment plans were safe and reliable. Conclusion:Through clinical observation, shock wave acupuncture and moxibustion can effectively relieve pain caused by knee osteoarthritis in patients with knee osteoarthritis, and improve the knee joint function. The effect is better than acupuncture and is worthy of clinical promotion.
